Hey all!!
I ovulated today, at least I think I did. I don't use the OPK's, even though I'm thinking about it. But I have had the EWCM for the past couple days and today I had a sharp pain on the left side that lasted about 15 min. Everything I read signaled that this is it! My DH and I BD'ed this morning so hopefully if my hormones are balanced, this may be it! Of course I've been hoping for that for a year, but I'm staying positive! As long as there is ovulation there is a chance, right? I'm going to keep praying that it will happen. I have felt differences this month due to the Ovulex.

Honey-
I forgot to ask if those saliva ovulation scopes are easy to read. I have seen them advertised on different websites, and I have been thinking of buying one. Was the "ferning" easy to distinguish? I'm just curious if it's easy to tell when you're ovulating with that. I'm sure it is since you're now pregnant!! Thanks!

Good luck! I hope this is your month! DH always tells me to believe that this is the month because thinking negative never helps anything. I will keep you in my prayers.
Honey~ I was actually going to ask the same thing as Juel. Are those microscopes hard to read? I thought about buying one but I had trouble reading microscopes in high school biology so…they might not be a great choice for me. ;) Hope everything is going well for you and the little one!

Hi, girls, my name is Renee and my dh and I have been tring to get preg. for 2 1/2 years. We had no luck with the IUI that we did last month, $1000.00 down the drain. I have a son thats 4 1/2 and had no problem getting preg. the first month that we tried it happen, not this time. I started taken ovulex on tuesday, and started to drink green tea today. Iam only on cd 10 and had some egg like cm today, it may seem a little early I usually O in day 16 or 17. I have been praying for all of you. I can't imagne not knowing Jesus and tring to go though this. Keep the faith, its all in his timing. We just need to put all of are trust in him, and try not to worry. Its almost impossiable.

Lili your welcome. I have took Robutissin while on Ovulex the first month. I found I have no side affects or anything, drink lots of water as well. I stopped taking it because the last two months I have tried Preseed.
Do you chart as well Lili it will also help in figuring out when you have ovulated. I chart and use the OPK's just to be sure I don't miss it.

Lili: The two dark lines means that you are getting your surge. After you surge, you will ovulate in 24 - 36 hours. It will show on the tests - lighter - then darker - then lighter again, depending on the time of the surge you test. Thats how it was explained to me. I hope it helps. I know it can be very very confusing.
Wish me luck, I am should to get my AF tomorrow(25 day cycle I usually have). I'm hoping that the Ovulex is working (been taking it since 7/3) and will extend my cycle a few days - Just not too long. Although, I do not have any of my usual AF symptoms :o)
I pray it's working!

hey Renee, Welcome to the group!! If you are getting EWCM you might want to keep a eye on the possibility that you could ovulate early. My cycles had been a little longer like 32-35 days after having a D&C. I have been taking Ovulex for 3 cycles now. My first 2 cycles I ovulated early at CD 13 and my 3rd cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 20. Just with it being your first cycle on Ovulex I would hate for you too miss your ovulation incase it comes early. For me it seemed to regulate me back to my 28 day cycle and now it has extended this one.

To all you gals wondering about the Robitussin, i just went to the store tonight to find some, and the kind that has only "guaifenesin" is "Robitussin, chest congestion." The Robitussin DM has some other ingredient in it also that is a cough suppressant...The Chest Congestion kind has 100mg of guaifenesin per tsp. Anyway, just to let everyone know!
Does anyone know the regimen that you are supposed to follow with the Robitussin?

weazie, thanks for the info. I think I may be O early.
I did a OPK this morning and the line was there but not dark enough. So maybee I will get a + surge tommorrow. I know before some of you asked about fertil-a-bend from GNC. I took it for about 2 months and no luck, you had to take it 3 times a day. It was $30 a bottle about the same price at Ovulex, I got 3 bottle for $97. Has any one had any luck with the cough syrup?
Does any one know if its better to BD every day around the time of O, or every other day?

I have heard good things about both BD'ing every day and every other, I don't think it makes a big difference. We like to do it every other day so it doesn't get quite as boring. Many ppl say that if the man has a low sperm count, a couple should BD every other day, but if his count is normal it's probably okay to do it every day.
I am kind of down today because I just don't feel like this month is going to be the month. I know it's important to stay positive, I guess maybe I am just afraid to hope anymore because it's so heartbreaking every month when AF shows up. I'm only 2 dpo though, so I wouldn't likely notice any symptoms right now anyway even if I was pg.
How is everyone else doing? Any exciting plans for the weekend?

hey all just wanted to let ya'll know that I am 6 weeks preg. after taking Ovulex for a liitle over a month.... We are so ready to be parents again.... We tried for 6 years before I tried Ovulex and God knew we were ready and has blessed us with another baby to love!

Gatton... I am very happy that you are pregnant!! You did it, when did you find out?? How long did you take ovulex for??
Citygirl, Thank you for your help, yeah this thing gets confusing sometimes, especially if you are new at this things.. I have been taking ovulex since 7/7/06 yeah barely!! I have had not side effects so that is good up to this point! I wish you all the luck in the world and hope that you don't get your AF, I hope that you get blesses with a baby! Good Luck partner!
Weazie, Thank You for responding back and letting me know about ovulex and robitussin, I might try that 2 and see if it work, I will not lose anything right?
And yes, I am charting since February but for some reason my AF is so irregular and that's whats causing me this problem.

try to stay postive. I know its hard to not think about it.
How long have you been ttc and how long have you taken ovulex? Are you taking you temp. every morning?
I have been praying for all of you ladies to conceive and to have peace inside us to help us get though this.

Renee~ Thanks for the encouragement. My DH really tries to keep me from thinking too negative, but it's hard sometimes, as I'm sure everyone on this board knows. I didn't start charting until last month but we have been using opk's since January. We went off birth control in July 2005, not realizing then how complicated ttc really is, at least for us. I will keep you and everyone else in my prayers as well!

we have been trying for 2 1/2 years, its very hard to keep postive, but we need to keep our heads up. The more we worry about all of this the harder it is for us to get preg. I have had so many people tell me that they had a hard time getting preg. too, and once they stopped trying it happen. I think its because they stopped worring about it. I try to stop thinking about it but its impossiable. I ordered an e-book from the internet before and it talks about the secrets of getting preg., timing, herbs, and to relax and clear our minds. and to meditate every day. I think we get so worked up about this that we are stopping our body from doing what they are suppost to do. I have never really meditate before, but I don't think its a bad idea. I have a friend at church, that says we need to get up in the morning and be postive and alway keep faith in the Lord that He will provide. I had the hardest time keeping positve after last month, we prayed and prayed and hoped we were in Gods timing and spent 1000.00 on IUI which was unsusessful. That when I decied to try ovulex for 3 month and take a break and save up money for the next IUI, which Iam going to be faithful and beleive that I wont need to get it done in November. Do you know when we worry and stress about this we are turning our backs against God, and its the devil that is doing it to us. When I start to get down, it helps me to think that if Iam down and worring the devil is very pleased.
