Daniella - sounds great. Yours and Lisa's babies have close to the same heartrate. Hearing that sound is awesome!!!!!

Has anyone heard anymore from Lindsay? I was looking for her last post. I thought things may have been looking up for her. I pray they still are.

Kisses and Hugs!

Lisa - how far along are you now? Has the doctor said that maybe the placenta is starting to take over some of the hormonal production? I am praying that it may be the reason for the slight decline. See I have been told that your chances of a m/c go down greatly when you not only see but are able to hear the heartbeat.

Hi girls
Congrats on all the exciting news-the heartbeats, finding the sex of the baby!!! I am really happy for you guys.

Sorry, I have been in Missouri this past week visiting my mom. I have limited access to the computer. I have my ultrasound on Monday, and I am scared to death. My last beta was this past Wed-it was 4624. I just feel worried bc some days I am a bit nauseous, and other days I am not. I wasn't as tired yesterday as the day before, so I am stressing myself out. I am not bleeding, but I had a blighted ovum on my last pregnancy and did not bleed for weeks after growth had stopped. Of course my bday is on Sunday so it would be my luck to get bad news on Monday. I hope not, but I guess I cannot control the outcome....

Hope you are all well-I will email when I get back home!

Take care,
Linzie

Dear Jenny;
Monday i will be at 7 weeks. They are not concerned. They say when you are on a cream projesterone as long as it is up to 8 your fine because cream doesnt go in your bloodstreem. The doctor took me off prometrium but said i could start taking it if it made me feel better. So last night i took it with the crinone gel i take twice a day. I have no cramping no spotting and they do say once th placenta attaches you get enough projesterone- I am trying not to worry any one have any information on this? I am exhausted so i have that going for me hehe.

Lisa - I thought you were still taking the prometrium that is why I found it so odd that it went down. As long as all is still well and that little on is okay. They are the doctors so they are supposed to know best. When is your next u/s?

Ladies - with our rising hormones we tend to forget things so I am writing this to everyone to remind them that tonight is DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME. Don't forget to set your clocks back!!!!!!!

Hi All-
I am new to this thread but I just wanted to say hello.
I am also on progesterone suppositories and prometrium once at night. My prog. level finally did go up to 46.2 so the doc is happy but they want me to stay on the same routine.
Lisa - What kinds of things have you read about prometrium and progesterone? I worry about taking all of this stuff - I know it's worth it, but, like all of us, I still worry a lot!

Also - I did forget daylight savings time! Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Julie~ Welcome!

Tell us your story! Did you do IVF or IUI? How are you feeling? I am 8 weeks pg with twins and am still on permitrium in morning and night and progesterone at night only. I am so tender from all these suppositories and am on them until 10 weeks pg...so 2 more weeks to go and I can not wait til it is over. i think all these suppositires are more cautionary! I fogot my morning permitium a couple times already and my dr. sais" thats ok".... so...

I to woryy about all these drugs. The fertility drugs gave me cysts on my ovaries and my ovariesa re still huge! It stinks.

Hang in there and stay in touch.

Dear Julie;

i am not worried about the meds as much as i am worried about my projesterone levels. The doctor has me on crinone cream 2x day. I have prometrium left. so i asked him if i could take one nightly because by proj dropped to 11.2 when i went off the prometrium for a week. he thinks i am still getting enough with the cream and i shouldn't worry but of course i am.
thanks for your words.
michelle i did not know your still on proj. what are your levels

I didn't do IVF or IUI - I did it the old fashioned way (with lots of help from modern drugs). I had a really good follicle last month and so my doctor said go for it. But, my problem has been repeat m/c and not so much the getting pregnant part. MyDH and I don't have any children yet so we are excited that this might actually be it, but of course because of past attempts we are trying not to get too excited.
Counting from the first day of my last period I am 51/2 weeks. All of my m/c have been around 6-7 weeks so I am really nervous right now and everytime I go for a blood test I am sure they are going to call and say I don't have any HCG. I have my first u/s tomorrow morning to check for the sac I guess.
So far I have had mild symptoms - sore bbs (some days worse than others), tired, and I feel hungry more often than usual. Not sure if that is normal or just all in my head.
Are you all counting weeks from LMP or from transfer if IVF or from ovulation?
Congratulations on your twins, Michelle! I am secretly hoping for twins although I think my DH would panic.

Hello Ladies,

I have'nt been on in a few months. I had to take a few months break from the whole TTC thing. But I'm back now and I guess I'm inthe 2 week wait!

JulieC,

I totally understand what you are going through and what you have been through. My lmp was 10/9, I'm actually 15 DPO. I'm scared to death to go have a beta count down. I like you always m/c between 6-7 weeks. I don't have any symptoms, I am using progesterone suppositories. So even if I'm not p/g the progesterone is delaying my period. I guess I will take a test at the end of the week. Have you gone through all the test done an RE? Every test I have taken have all been negative. I have'nt been tested for Natural Killer Cells, have you? This time I took Clomid even though I don't really have a problem getting p/g. I just thought it would increase my chances on having more eggs and maybe better quailty. Do you no for sure if your p/g? Have you had a beta done? I'm so scared to hear my numbers are low and not doubling every 48 hours. Take Care and let's keep each other updated...Tiffany...

I just read over my post and I meant to say I'm scared to have my Beta count done, in the last post I put my Beta count down. Sorry time to go to bed...Good night all

Hi Lisa
I know you were asking about progesterone. I usually have a problem with my levels. For some reason, my progesterone level is >160 and I am only on crinone gel one time daily. I do not understand how it can be that high, but I am glad I do not have to take those awful shots....

JulieC - November 5

Hi Tiffany,
Yes, I have been seeing a RE and have been through their battery of tests. All have been ok. I think they tested for the NK cells but I'm not 100% sure. I took Clomid for 2 cycles and I think that is what really helped my cycle and hormones start to get in sync. I wasn't producing mature follicles any more and I didn't make much progesterone at all and I had a very short luteal phase. They also gave me HCG shots.
I had a positive beta on 10/25 of 89 then on 10/29 it was 710 and on 11/1 it was 2,840. I had another test this morning and am waiting to hear. They did my first fetal u/s and all looks good with the sac too. So far so good.
I'm sure you will have a very positive experience soon! Just hang in there.
Julie
