Provera

Dr. Jacobs....
I have PCOS. I took Provera for the first time in August. I took it for the full 10 days and started my cycle on the 12th day. The duration was only 3 days long (if that) and was dark and thick. I waited 40 days to see if I would start the next cycle on my own....and I don't think I did. I started taking Provera again on Oct. 1 and yesterday (Oct.3) I began to get a little headache, but never thought much of it until today. Today I began to have cramps. When I went to the restroom, I realized my cycle was starting! But I have only taken 3 Provera pills! Do I need to take anymore of them? Does this mean things are starting to straighten themselves out in the infertility department?

Thanks!

Your current flow is probably a result of a drop in estrogen level. Go ahead and finish yur Provera, and make an appointment to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist.
Good luck.
