I am using anonymous frozen donor sperm for Therapeutic Donor Insemination. I am CMV negative but a lot of the donors I like are CMV Positive. I keep getting conflicting information on if it's okay for me to use a CMV positive sperm donor or not. Can you shed some light on this?

I'm running into the same issue. I don't understand the risks if there are any since it's frozen sperm.

The sperm are "preserved" in the liquid nitrogen. Do you assume mothing else is? I do not know the risk of acquiring CMV through donor insemination. You will be the one assuming the risk.
