Dear Dr. Jacobs,
I am hoping you could give me your opinion.
I just had my Day 13 lining check for my FET (actually it was Day 12) and my lining measured 7mm. The Dr. said that was good and I was given my first progesterone injection in preparation for transfer next week.
Are my chances reduced by having a lining of only 7? Typically, on fresh cycles my lining is between 8 and 9. My first FET, I had a lining of 8. The 2nd I had to cancel due to a lining of @ 5.8. My third attempt, I achieved a lining of 10.5 which I attribute to using viagra suppositories. I am at a different clinic now and they would not agree to prescribe them.
I guess my question is should I consider canceling and starting preparation over again or is the difference between a 7 and 8 or 9 when it comes to lining marginal?
Thanks for any insight.

The data in the literature indicate that the lining needs to be GREATER than 7 mm thick. If you have not already started your progesterone, you may benefit from continuing the estrogen alone for a few more days, and measuring, again. Good luck.
