Although they're still rather "full" feeling, my breasts are n't anywhere near as sore as they were a few days ago (I'm 17 dpiui). Is this cause for concern, or is it normal to have intermittent symptoms like this so early on?

Symptoms are very unreliable. You need to rely on pregnancy tests and, when far enough along, ultrasound.
