Hi wonder if anyone can answer my question???
I recently underwent IVF and had only 4 follicles eventually at egg collection 1 egg was retrieved. I have no known problems and our infertility is male related. Im 34. My clinic put me on a long protocol ( contraceptive pill (3 wks), prostap (2 wks) then gonal f (300 daily). I only had one final scan and was concerned while stimming as I felt I was going through the menopause. Should have felt like this with prostap before stimming!
My 1 egg fertilised and now have that on board. I want to know if anyone else was like this? Should I not have been suppressed so long? Should I have been on a higherdose? Is there something wrong with me? Sorry for all ques at my wits end. Stars xx

You are apparently a "poor responder". A different stimulation protocol may work better for you. Remembeer, if you have very poor ovarian reserve, you may need an egg donor.
