It feels weird being pregnant - my first pregnancy I was so tired and sick this one is nothing - probably because it is not as healthy.

I will read your posts.

Hi girls,
Jules,I've never posted here before, just couldn't help myself to tell you-be positive, my 1st beta was 21,I was in tears, because it wasn't sound good, but my RE told me,he've seen many times when you start low,but later it grows normal. The 2nd was 66,it tripled. The 3d was 272 and than-1519.So,the not the numbers that important, but how they ggrow-if they at least double every 48 hours-you are fine.Stay positive and belive in your little miracle,it's there,hi or she already needs your support!

Jules614 - December 14

Marina - thank you so much for the encouragement. I can't tell you how much that means to me.

Did you have your child yet?

Julie

Marina - December 14

no,Julie,I'm only 6 weeks and 2 days prego. I though 2ww was a torture, but it's nothing compare to waiting for your beta results every 2 days!!! My BH always was and is sooo positive and optimistic (not me,I'm ashamed of myself that I could let myself down so easy after my 1st HCG and have all this negative thoghts that it didnt work!) Sometimes knowing too much information is not a good thing(and I was searching like crazy everything I could find about HCG levels) .I dont remember who said that(but that was a very smart person)-we shouldn't try on every situation that happen to other people, your relatives, friends or neibour, soap opera, because we all unic and our lifes and situations different and we have always trust in ourselfs.
So,good luck to you :-* and belive in your baby ,it's a fighter, maybe it's just taking it's time .Let me know your results, how many embies did you transfer?

Jules614 - December 14

Thanks so much Marina for your kind words. Tell me about you and your history? How long did you try conceiving, did you do IVF? etc..

hi Julie,
I'm 37,2nd time married, have almost 13 years old son. This was my 1st IVF with ISCI,we've been trying to have a baby for about 5 years(or ,I should say,Iwent of the pill because my husband want to have a baby) and I never thought it might be a problem, and never was serious about this,I always thought it's up to me when to get PG,but..So,after all this time we got ourselfs checked and I've got blocked tubes,he got horrible sperm...So,here we are.We had a good response to the treatment,I had 40 follies total,14 fertilazed,we took a risk and transfered only one 5 day blast exelent quality(I was terrified of having twins) and frozed the rest of them. So,I got PG,but it was very stressful (that 1st beta 21) and almost took joy from this great news, but it got better.I'm know I'm not in a safe zone yet(it's always going to be something to worry about)but you should belive in miracles!
What about you?

I got married over 7yrs ago and we started trying for a child on the honeymooon. It took 4 yrs to conceive the first. Hubby had a vericose vein which got lazored. I got pregnant right after. The day the doc said we could be intimate (6 weeks after daughter born) we started trying again since it already took 4 yrs the first time. After 2 yrs of trying nothing - I tried clomid for 3 months - got cysts in my ovaries. Did threee IUI's all failed - took 6 months off to regroup = did IVF and got pregnant - my best friend, sister and other friends are all pregnant. My sister in law just had a baby 2 months ago. I look her and am reminded of how much I want those times again.

How has your pregnancy been going so far? Have you had an u/s yet?

Julie, thanks much for the web site!
I had my 1ft u/s at 5 w 4 days, everything looked normal, they couldn't see the heartbeat yet(it was too early). The purpose for this 1st u/s to see if it's on a right spot, and if there a yolk and a fetal pole.My 2nd u/s in 8 weeks, Dec 26.But my RE will be cruising on Bahamas,so they kick me out to my regularOB.To be honest-I'm glad, because my doc a genius in what he does, but his personality sucks! For him and people in his office it's all about money and bussines, they all very distant with everybody.I'm not complaining(no way, many thanks,he got me pg),but a little smiles ones in a while would be nice.If you'l ask me if I'd recomend him-yes,of course, but dont expect to be pampered. Some of the nurses where fine, most very artificial, even the pregnant receptionist at the front desk never smiles!

Marina -

I have found the docs and nurses at my facility to be cold too. I had a follicle burst in me the night of my retrieval and the doc just told me to take motrin - didn't even suggest it could have burst. They never tell me anoything when they call - never gave me my E2 numbers unless I asked - when they called to tell me I was pregnant they didn't tell me my HCG levels - I had to ask. I called them today to ask if I should be taking prenatals - they said yes.. but I wouldn't have taken them if I hadn't known because they don't tell me anything!!!!

So, I understand how you feel.

Julie
