My exact due date is April Fool's Day...I wish it would be sooner...My legs are starting to cramp at night and my belly is aching and braxton hicks are starting to get more and more frequent at night so it causes me to stay up late at night...I had a really easy pregnancy and just ready for it to be over with and I can finally hold my miracle baby....Hang in there and all will be just fine...

enjoy every meeting leading up o his arrival. It will be moments you can be joyous about for many years to come. So glad you are getting what you want. I can't rember are you having c section?

JENNY22074 - February 18

Right now the only talk is possible induction...It is really going to depend on his size as to whether or not we opt for a c-section....Whatever is the safest way to bring him into the world we are ready...Hope you journey has a successful ending with a BFP!!!!...

Congrats Beth! and Best Wishes to everyone on the 2 WW!! I am back in the game this month after being benched for a cycle due to a cyst. (Following my BFN from the first IUI)

Took BC for a cycle to help shrink the cyst and it worked! The cyst recheck came back and I am all cleared for baby making.

I missed a pill the Friday before last and have been "spotting" every day since. At my recheck appt on Thursday she told me I had quite a bit of endometrial lining still to shed. This might be a hard period to track bc I have been spotting for so many days.

I am waiting for that first full flow day to hit so I know when to start Letrozole again.

We'll go for our 2nd attempt at IUI again this cycle. This time with meds...here are a few questions that hopefully you ladies might be able to help me figure out

1. Is it possible that the first IUI didn't work because there was a cyst that cycle?

2. Will my period start "full flow" after missing a pill and spotting so many days? (I typically "start" on day 28) but have been light bleeding for 2 weeks

3. Has anyone been successful with IUI and no meds? This will be the first IUI with both and I don't want to get too excited.

Thank you ladies for all of your support!

Jenny the end is the hardest you get so anxious and so sore at once.

JENNY22074 - February 19

Beth - how are you...I hope you and the family are doing well...I am finding your comment to be so true at this stage...It just seems like it has been all of a sudden and things are cramping and feeling pressure and it just feels weird...Talk to you soon.

Jenfrancis - I've been there and done the same thing...I had 2 5 day embryos transferred on 7-16-2007...That was a Monday...I felt different with that entire cycle...However curiosity got this best of this cat and on Saturday which I was 5 days post transfer I tested with an HPT I was tired of waiting...I also received a BFN and was crushed the rest of the time and figured why even go and have my Beta done on the 26th of July...I still got up early that morning and drove my 1 1/2 hours to the RE's office and waited the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY....I tested at like 6 in the morning and didn't receive my results until 4:48pm...I had convinced myself that it was true and I was not pregnant...Low and behold we started with a beta of 336 which is a nice and high starting beta...So hang in there and try not to test anymore...You never know what the beta will say...I am now 4-6 weeks from having my baby boy....Praying that you receive a BFP!!!...Hang in there girl

Welcome Jenfrancis
You tested too early,I did the same thing-tested 5 days after 5 d transfer-BFN and 2 days later-very faint BFP.
Never heard about compacted stage(???).What is it?!
Don't lose hope just yet,9 cell embie on a day 5-it's not the best, but miracles happen every day!Just wait for the blood test and good luck!

The Compacted stage I think is what I have seen called Morula or something. The cells are clustered and unable to be counted. Guess its stage before blastocyst.
I took another HPT this AM, (day 6 post transfer) of course Negative. Then I woke up this AM and checked all your replies. Thank you, I have hope. I feel no different, no nausea, no cramps. I am hopeful, but doubtful. Guess I am trying to be ready for upsetting results.
How likely is it that embryos dont make it to Blastocyst stage by day 5, could it be embryo arrest? They were in morula stage for 3 days. Well, I will let you all know Saturday. Fingers Crossed!

Congrats! Wow! Well, there is hope! I am shocked with that high beta result, surprised its not twins! Wow!
Thank you for the positive lift! I need it. (Even tho I truly dont have a 2ww.) They only made me wait 10 days. I thought that was because they did not really expect it to work. No need to prolong the agony of waiting.

HI Marina...My story is this. Dh and I have been ttc our second child together for over 3 years. We have a dd together and I have ds from previous relationship. I have been diagnosed with PCOS.

After 2 years of trying went to see RE. Had 1 cycle of clomid that did not yield any follies. RE upped the dose and I had 1 follie during this cycle. BFP!!!! Unfortunately after 7 weeks it ended in m/c. Had to have thyroid surgery so we took some time off after m/c. Next two cycles with clomid, nothing. Moved on to gonal-f. Because of PCOS they had to take it slow with me. This went on for an endless three weeks. All meds out of pocket. Still not great response, but some. Had two good size follies. Took trigger and did timed bd....outcome nothing. Just about same next time. I decided I needed to lose some weight before I continued. Took 4 months off and lost 45 lbs. January started again,. This time they were alot quicker to give me a higher dose of gonal-f. 265 first 4 days and then 375 for 6. I had a great response, almost too good. RE told me there were great risk of multiple due to PCOS and 6-7 follies. I really am Ok with at most 3. Hopefully I will get BFP and not have litter. Anyway that is where I am at now. I did IUI this time as to not deal with stress of timed bd. Unfortunately dh still saw it as a huge stress. He had a hard time with sample. During sperm analysys they told us sperm was so good it was donor quality. Due to stress he was feeling sample almost did not happen. He finally managed to put a deposit in cup. Unfortunately after washing it was 15 mil. REE said that was fine since they only require 5 mil for IUI. So here I am in 2ww hoping to get a BFP. If not I assume we will be at it again next month.

Marina, aren't you glad you asked!!!!!

Hi there,

I am new to the 2ww board. No one is posting on the other boards, they just seem to be for sale boards now. I just did my first round of clomid, 50 mg, days 3-7. I am CD9, so not due to O yet, but soon I hope. I am also taking 1000mg of Metformin daily as well. I hope this works, I have been ttc for years. My ex dh had no sperm and we were married for 14 years. I am with someone different now and he has 1 dd, age 10. He just did sperm analysis and it came back with flying colors. We have been ttc to 1 year now together. I have PCOS and unexplained inferility. I do not O and have very irregular periods, 1-2 a year on my own. I was really tired on D4 and D5 of the clomid, moody, sore breasts. This has seem to gone away now, except still a little moody. The 2ww is going to be tough. I need your support ladies.

Thanks,
Gloria

lyly14 - February 22

Gloria- Welcome! You have come to the right place for support. Have they checked your follicles yet? Are you going to use a trigger shot or just wait to O on your own? Moodiness is just one of the perks of clomid (fun huh?), but if it works well worth it. I wish you the best of luck and lots of baby dust.

They are going to check on Tuesday morning. I have to do a post cloital the same morning as well. I don't know if my dr. will do a trigger shot or not, I guess it will depend on the u/s and what he sees. I can't wait til Tuesday to see what is or isn't happening. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I am not going to get any hopes up, because it is always a BFN. But it won't stop me from trying though. I am with the love of my life. We were high school sweethearts, dated for 5 years in HS, then he went into the Marines and we split up and lost touch for 10 years. We are both recently divorced and have never stopped loving each other and now we are ttc. So far for 1 year with no luck on our own. I am the one with the problems and it is frustrating. He has a dd and didn't want any more kids but now he is excited about having a baby with me and very supportive and kind. There is no history in my family of infertlity, just me. My sister can get pg if you breathe on her, same with my mom. I just don't get it....

Thanks for listening to me....

Gloria :)
