We had miscarriage yesterday. LMP - 13 weeks, gestation period- 7 weeks. It happened naturally - loads of bleeding, pain, tissues being expelled etc. What a trauma !

Requesting for some opinions -

(a) Is D&C absolutely important ? How long should one wait for to see if natural process has occured and there is no need, 1 week, 2 ? or less

(b) What are important things to consider before planning for next, time gap etc ?

Any help would be appreciated.

I did have a D&C after mine. Its important to remove all the scar tissue so in the future the embryo does not have trouble implanting. My doctor also told me that you can try again after your first regulated period. I know the healing process is about 6 weeks and then its usually a month after you stop bleeding from D&C that you would get that.
