Hi, I ask to receive a copy of my medical records from last year. As I was going thru them I see that after a transginal sonogram, the doctor noted a uterine polyp (4.4 X 5.3). He didn't mention anything about it at our consultation, but now I am reading that polyps interfer with fertility. Should I have it removed?

Oh, I did the HSG and everything came back normal "the uterine cavity was normal and both fall. tubes showed quick fill and spill of contrast to the distal end with free flow into the peritoneal cavity."

Thanks again.

I routinely remove uterine polyps from my infertile patients. There is a concern they may interfere with embryo implantation.
