if i stimulated with femera enough to have 4 or 5 follicles, could we transfer to IVF for increased chance of success....meaning, could they retrieve the eggs, instead of IUI??

The egg retrieval and embryo transfer costs are quite significant. If you do not NEED IVF, you will be wasting about $5000. Even though it is probably possible to do IVF with Femara, you are likely to encounter the same problem with post mature eggs, that we experienced before we started using Lupron in our IVF stimulation protocols. Good luck.

Thank you, We are working with a male factor, but counts vary from 25 million one time to 6 the next...and our last attempt (4 years ago) with ivf did not go well....I did not do well on the medications...mentally and physically! So, I was thinking our odds might be good if we retreived from a simpler medication regime.... ???
