Success Story: The Longest Road...

We've been TTC for two years. Not once do I remember any education in sex ed class back in high school that would lead me to realize that anyone had any issues conceiving! We're supposed to grow up, get married, and have families! We've been diagnosed with a cop-out diagnosis..."Unexplained Infertility." We're very upset with the world and every other couple who doesn't have to wait to get pregnant. We've been through 3 IUIs. The 3rd in 8/07, was the success; though it only led to a chemical pg. Heartbroken, we dusted our knees and tried again the next month with plans of doing a 4th IUI with clomid again and the added joy of injectables. Well, the IUI was cancelled because my body decided to go against all the hormones and didn't produce any Estridol. I'm now on Femara CD3-7 and we're trying on our own until we can save up the $12,000 for IVF. I'm also on Prometrium for a LPD. This is the longest and most heartwrenching road to travel. I wouldn't wish it on anyone and sure wish our prayers, all our prayers, would be answered. It shouldn't be this hard, this expensive, and this depressing to have a child.
