Dear Cindy,

I am sorry that you had to go through soo much to get to this point. Personally, I am a bit relieved, but and still very nervous about the whole thing. I have my sonogram tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy and to see how many fetuses I am carrying. I am soo nervous. I also just found out the my younger sister was pregnant and she is in the process of a miscarriage. She already has two boys and no fertility problems, but the fact that this is the second time that she has had a miscarriage scares me. I makes the possibility soo real to me. I am trying to remain stress free, but this is hard when dealing with my difficult DH. He can sometimes drive me nuts and my patience is very short these days. Now hearing your story adds to the reality of the possibility of a miscarriage. I pray that the babies (if there are two) are both safe and survive all of this craziness.

Gina, my heart is with you. My best friend is also going through this as well. She has had both IUI and IVF. It is also frustrating for her and myself. I wish that all women could just have babies without the drama that comes with IUI and IVF. If you ever need anything, please let us know. I will do my best to keep you guys posted. You guys were there for me during the terrible two week wait. That time period is really torture! Its nice to know that you are not the only one in the world going through such a thing. I am very glad that I found this website and the nice women that post to it. You are all a God send...

feel like I am forever here. I can do a preg test on Jan 4th. My boobs are slightly tender this is the first time I was using the progesterone pills and I am thinking thats what is causing them to be tender?? I am also very tired but this could be from the holidays.
Has anyone else had sore breasts from the progesterone pills and wasnt preg?

Hey Nik, I have until around the 17th, 18th.....I think my boobs might be kind of sore but I think it's probably in my head, I wish I could go to sleep and wake up on the 17th(lol) good luck and much baby dust to us all ;)

Stay busy ladies thats the best advice.. I feel like I was constantly in that 2ww wait period and the more i would keep myself busy the faster time would go.
do some things for yourself go get your hair done or get a pedicure ect..

TICKINGCLOCK, That is so true what you said about keeping busy, I think I'm going to start walking down to the beach every evening just to keep a clear head and have peace of mind, this thing can drive you crazy if you let it, Im going to get a pedicure and get my eyebrows threaded instead of waxed, I heard it's much better than the wax....Thanks so much for the good idea..Good Luck and God Bless!

I am in the 2ww wait as well. I just had 4 blastocysts transferred on Tuesday from my 1st IVF cycle and am on my 2nd day of bedrest. This is killing me. I am so nervous and anxious.

As anyone here been through the 2ww after IVF? I am dreading the day that the office calls me with my pregnancy test results. Where were you all when you received your results? Any suggestions. I have been off for 2 weeks and will return to work on Monday. My test on Thursday. I am thinking about taking off Friday when the results are due.

This is a wonderful site with such caring people. I am so glad that I found it. :)

todays the 17th ...still nothing i feel like complete sh t right now(excuse my language) i feel like im getting a cold, cramping but so weird not like AF cramps bbs are tender not sore sleeping a bit more cervix is higher than usual..especially for a af to be coming.....this is so weird if its not here by the 19th that'll make me 29 days( im usually between 26 -28 days)i ll test. ive really been taking my ovulex correctly for the past 2 months with lots and lots of green tea (like peaches said) so i hope it payed off...we'll see

I am new to this board. I had the blessing to find this site and read what all of you have contributed and I am glad I did. DH and I have been TTC for 3 years and in that time we have had 8 cycles of Clomid, estrogen, and progesterone (various levels). The last one ended in an ovarian ectopic. After the surgery my doctor told DH and I that due to my tubes I would have a greater chance getting PG with IVF. So this is my 1st cycle. Today was my 5-day transfer and we transfered 2 blasts. My blood test is scheduled for the 1/26. So, time to wait.... They told me not to bother with HPT becuase it could be a false negative due to the HCG shot they gave me to ovulate... Thanks for listening. I hope this works out this time. ::)

You and I are in the exact same boat. I had my 1st IVF transfer as well on 1/12/06. We had 3 transferred in and I am now on day 9 and the waiting is killing me. My girlfriend at work actually talked me into doing a test today and it was negative - I SO WISH I WOULD NOT HAVE LISTENED - because now i think on Friday the 27th it will be negative as well and I am depressed.

I have gone through the nausea, breast tenderness, weight gain and I just think it is all because of the Progesterone shot that i take every night - I am also a total Bitch and very irritable.

I know (smacking my own had) I should never have done that darn test, but I swear I will be good and wait all the way until either AF comes or my test date.

Good luck and LOTS AND LOTS OF BABYDUST ....
