I have not prescribed Clomid in over 10 years. We have much better drugs availabe, today. For more information, I invite you to see our web page, <www.texasfertility.com>. On Clomid, a follicle needs to be 19 mm to 20 mm to have a chance of ovulating. Ovulation does not predictably take place, even with hCG. Good luck.

Thanks Dr. I ovulate regularly, only taking Clomid to push it up in the cycle and time the IUI, ours is male factor infertility. Does that increase our chances at all?
thanks

Actually, there are reports in the professional literature, with data, which indicate that Clomid can decrease the potential for pregnancy in women who are already ovulating. Good luck.
