Hello,

I tested very low according to my RE for AMH 0.03, but I have a normal, albeit on the high end FSH 8.7. My Re said I could go ahead with IVF....how concerned should I be in regard to AMH level and IVF success.

Thanks so much

Petra

Anti mullerian hormone has great promice as a test for ovarian reserve. At this time, there is no standard as to what is to be considered normal range. Each lab establishes its own. If you have a reasonable FSH, and you do, and a good follicle count, it is probably worth a try, if IVF is actually the best treatment for you.
Good luck.

Thank you so much for your response! I appreciate your help. Do you think that IVF is the best route for me to take?

I've had the rest of my blood work come back normal, a clear HSG and my husbands sperm analysis came back great.

Any advice you have is greatly appreciated!

Petra

Without obtaining a complete medical history, examining you and performing a few studies, I cannot provide meaningful medical advice.
Good luck.
