I was wondering if you can tell me if my 1st menstrual cycle after surgery is suppose to be so painful, is this normal? I usually have cramping but this cycle is hell. I had to have my rt tube and ovary removed on May the 24th and I started on the 22th of this month. Period is heavy with clots and very painful, is this normal?

With your ectopic pregnancy, your uterine lining became very thick. It is not surprising to have a very heavy flow, which may be painful. I hope you are better, now.
