Hey everyone,

AF showed this morning. :( I'm kind of bummed, but at least my cycle shortened on Ovulex. And I'm ovulating and my LP is longer than it used to be so that's a good sign at least. GL to everyone else this month!

Hi I am new to this board. I have been TTC for 5years. In 2000 I had my tubes reversed because my husband has no children of his own. Since then I have had a miscarriage and just June of this year almost died from a ruptured eptopic pregnancy. The tube I was pregnant in had lots of scar tissue causeing it to become lodged and eventualy rupture. The tube was to badly damaged and the ovarie was adhered to the tube and my bowel so the tube and part of my ovarie were removed. The doctor told me that my left tube abd ovarie looked great. They could not even tell where the it was put back together so I am hopeing that it is healty enough to do the job. I bought a 6 mths supply of Ovulex so I am hopeing that it works like it is suppose to. After reading some of the postings I have high hopes that I will become pregnant and give my husband a child that he desires and I will be able to enjoy the things of pregnancy and a new baby that I was to young to enjoy with my other children. Lots of baby dust to you all!!!!!
P.S. What does BFN stand for. I am learnig the abbreviations. :D

Dear Cassee and Lucyw

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Lucyw, you're right that I have to check out all the ingredients and make the right choice for me, BUT.... I also read Cassee's reply and thought long and hard about the fact that it makes you less regular.

You see, a big issue for me is that i don't feel well when I dont have regular periods, so I was hoping that OVULEX would help regulate me better. But Cassee, did you mean that because it lengthens the ovulation cycle, which is why your periods are irregular.

Cassee ~ ALso, what is the book about PCOS you're reading. You mentioned that you weren't going to take OVULEX, but you take other herbs. What are they and where can you obtain them. Please do let me know.

I haven't had a period now for 3 months and yesterday I got two big acne spots which itch and hurt. I hate all the additional symptoms of PCOS. It makes me really depressed.

Please get in touch soon. FKH

wow, i cant believe how much my posts have been ignored on this forum, well thanks for the support i suppose.

Meg,
I went back and read the 10 posts you have put on the board and I'm sorry you felt ignored but it looks like, although not directly to you, most of your questions have been answered.

In regards to your irratation and burning I responded twice to everyone regarding the ingredient Cayenne fruit that is in Ovulex and how it can cause burning and heartburn. Cayenne fruit comes from the Cayenne pepper plant and can burn just like if you ate a hot pepper.

I don't think anyone intentionally ignored you I just feel that if I don't have anything of value to say there's no point in responding. I've gotten some great information and advise from this board and I hope you stick around.

I am confused the Ovulex that I have does not list cayenne fruit as one of the ingredients. I ordered it from the Ovulex website. Is their different kinds of Ovulex?

Hello,

I am new to this site, I have read what everyone has posted on her for a month now...I had two children with no problem but my third pregnancy was an eptopic pregnancy and the doctor had to remove one of my tubes and that has been 5 years ago...I wanted one more and decided to take Ovulex..I have been taking it since June 21 and my af was late by five days and lasted 2 days but it was very lite...so I took a pregnancy test two days ago and today and all three came up positive...well the second line appears on two but very faint and one has two lines clearly..I was just wondering if this could be false because of the ingredients..has this happen to anyone else and they found out they were not pregnant...I wanted to know so I didn't get myself all worked up for nothing...but I will set an appointment to make sure anyway...hope it is good news...

Hi all I am new here, I just registered myself. I found this forum is amazing, ladies you share the same dream, to have a baby just like I am. I am trying to conceive, we have been trying for 9 months and no preggy yet. But we already consult with OBGYN and he said my hubby will need to take sperm test first. Then me. Wish us luck!!

I bought my ovulex from www.applehealthstore.com and it looks completely different compared to the bottles ive seen on the ovulex website. i hope its the same, mine also doesnt look like it has half the things in it people have mentioned, heres the list of ingerdients from the bottle i have ...

chaste- tree
rasberry leaf
black cohosh
ginko leaf
echinacea purpurea tops
bromelain

It sounds like you got the BFP!!!!!! I haven't heard of anyone getting a false positive taking Ovulex!! I went and bought the test that actually says PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT maybe taking that one will make you feel more confident about it. Then you don't have to judge the color of the line it's faint or not but I think you did it girl you are pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I
bought mine from the ovulex website and my bottle has the same ingredients in it that you have.

Meg,
I did research based on the ingredients listed on the ovulex website and they are identical to the ingredients you listed. Some women have mentioned cayenne fruit in theirs. I think there was an earlier discussion that there are two different companies that make "ovulex". However, someone mentioned on this board that selmedica, which is the maker on the ovulex website, was the original maker of ovulex. I think all the ingredients listed sound like they could help someone with infertility issues. I wrote out a page of info on each ingredient and did not feel that they had a great potential for risk.
