I'm fine, other than being bummed about not being prego!. But anyone on this site and understand that. Actually the symptoms from all three IUI's were similar, you feel pretty crappy, kinda like your going to start your period any minute only worse. When I got pregnant on the 3rd try, I actually didn't know and thought I was going to start my period and kept waiting and waiting. I didn't take a pg test until I was about 2 1/2 weeks past when I should have had my period. I just didn't want to take another pg test and have it come back negative. Anyway, I was blessed with my daughter and thank god everyday that I was lucky enough to get pregnant and carry to term. ARe you trying IUI now?

Arabsrcool,
Hi there. I am praying for you.*hug* I am on 2nd round of clomid and trigger shot and iui.
I go on the 30th(friday) to look at follies then next day probably get trigger shot and sunday or monday will get iui.
I remember what I felt like after I got the shot and then after iui... im already starting to get cramy and way bloated.. ick

ewwww....clomid, yeah I remember that. Hot flashes and all that other good stuff. I will be praying for you that it works! I got pg but had to use injectiable meds because clomid didn't work for me. My dh has male factor so that has also played a part. Let me know how your follies are doing. I know you are feeling crappy and also know it will get worse, but if you get pg, it will be so worth it.

I'm waiting for my period b/c I have one last shot at maybe getting into a IVF study my doc is in charge of. However most people don't make it past the screening phase according to the nurse. The study is financed by pham. company and they have set really strict parameters for the people accepted into the study, so I am trying not to get my hopes up. So when I start my period, I have to call and drive 3 hours for the screening (where I am told they check everything under the sun) and then wait to see if I'm accepted. If I'm not in this study our ART is done. I have exhausted the insurance and savings and cannot afford IVF.

Rhonda,
Good luck. keep me posted. YOu are so right about the clomid being rough sometimes.. But it will be so worth it , your right.
I went to the doc today and got ultra sound and seen I have 2 follies. one 16mm and one 22mm. so they gave me a trigger shot and I am going back on Sunday to get iui.. *wish me luck**excited*

Hey gals,

Just wondering if you can help me with a weird symptom---or lack there of. I posted this as a topic, but have had no replies.
I have NO breast tenderness on clomid. Mine usually swell up and are sore from ovulation through my period...I know I ovulated through ov test and sonograms!
Was my prolactin too high before clomid?
I would feel like it was working more if my bbs were tender!
Anyway, just wondering.....
And I took clomid one time before, a few months ago, without IUI. It was from my obgyn before I started with the RE. I had a much stronger reaction that time with every symptom (except the sore bbs!). This time I've only had headaches!

Jellybean,
I think everything os okay. MY Doc told me that every cycle is different and ur body can have different syptoms each time. So dont worry.. *HUG*

Jena,

I am praying for you that your IUI worked!. Did you IUI for one day or two consecutive? Lots of hugs!! Hope your symptoms are easing off some. Keep me posted.

Arabsrcool - December 3

Jellybean,

I agree with Jena. Symptoms from each cycle can be very different. I was on injectibles and some months symtptoms were really bad and some months I wondered if this stuff was working. The Nurses said that your body can react differently each month and your body kinda gets used to it meds sometimes.

Arabsrcool,

Thanks for the reassurance. I was wondering if the clomid really worked! I have my beta this Sat. morning. It's also my son's 3rd bday party.....I really hope I get good news so I can put on a happy face.

Jena,

How are you? How many IUIs will you try?

Arabsrcool - December 3

Jellybean,

I know the wait for the test seems like forever. I know as a mommy, you will put on a happy face, regardless of what news you get on Sat. morning. But I wish you lots of luck and baby dust. Keep me posted!

My daughter will turn 3 in March, and I had hoped to have had my second child by this time. I then have to remember to count my blessings, my daughter being the best blessing!

jeni_turner - December 4

Arabsrcool,

Yeah, I also constantly remind myself that I am lucky to have my son! I do appreciate him more now.
We had hoped for them to be closer too. I wonder if my c-section has anything to do with this? Have you had a lap?

Brianandjena - December 4

Hey Jelly and arabsrcool.
*HUG* I want to first say thank you for thinking about me and my iui.
I am only doing one iui,. They never suggested any more than one.
I dont have any syptoms so who knows.. Trying to stay possitive. I hope u have many bleesings!.Keep me posted please.

Jena,

The reason I asked about the # of insem's is because I always had two back to back, 24 hours apart. I'm sure how the doc's handle that is different in each office. I will keep you in my prayers.

jellybean,

I had a HSG early on when I was first trying to concieve after a m/c (6 long years ago). I have not had any further testing since I had my daughter in 2005. I'm guessing the doc assumed the plumbing was fine b/c it had worked before. I'm not sure what all they will test for when I go back for my screening appointment for this study. I think they will probably look at everything!

I doubt your c-section had anything to do with it. Seems like my friends that had the c-section are all now pg and here i am still not! Of course when your ttc, seems like everywhere you look, there are pregnant women. I don't spite them, but I would just like to join them. I will keep you in my thoughts. Keep me posted and have a good time at your son's birthday party.
