JasJulesMom - yup, the weather here us VERY hot! I took my daughter out for breakfast and she TESTED me.
wow - wish school was canceled for me when it got humid - why are your hands numb? You don't have preclamsia or anything? Are you swelling? Is that normal?

Oh My God Beth - I am sooooo sorry. That stinks. I have never had teh chicken pox either. Had you? Who were you around that had them? I have been exposed to chicken pox most my childhood (mom was a teacher) and I never caught them. My blood tests say I am immuned but I bet if highly exposde, I would get shingles. How do you feel? I am sorry your FET was put on hold. That stinks - but better safe than sorry.

Yes, I had chicken pox when I was 5 or 6 - i was told that you had to have chicken pox in order to get shingles - it basically lives in your nerves and under the "right circumstances", it comes back out as shingles. It's so painful and dh is ready to kill me that we are stuck in our apartment for the weekend vs. going to the beach. I told him to go without me, but I know he feels bad. We are both so upset about the FET - but at least it's not a fresh cycye b/c not sure what we would have done then. So, now we wait...

Beth- So sorry you feel terrible. My Mom had shingles right around mother's day. SHe said they were really painful and her back was killing her. I had to stay aware from her for 2-3 weeks even though I had the chicken pox. OB said even though I can't catch shingle and had chicken pox, as a precaution I had to stay away. Hope your doctor will let you stay home. My mom's doctor told her she could return as soon as blisters were drying up.
Lyly- I live in NJ and they have some crazy rules when it comes to schhol. Growing up in Brooklyn, it could be 110 degrees and we still had school. Kids these days have it good. The only issue now is who to leave him with each day. We end school on 6/16 but camp does not start til 6/23 and now throw in those half days......I want to scream.

Debbie, I wish they would tell us that school was done for the year. I only really have two full weeks left and then four days of exams.
It was soooooo hot here today. We need to put the AC’s in soon! I definitely felt pregnant today especially with it being so hot out.
I have had a little touble sleeping. Mostly because I have to get up and pee like 3x during the night.
Beth, so sorry honey. I really feel for you and hope that this is your last set back. I hope your pain subsides and that you can relax a little and let that stress out of your system. Get lots of rest.
Jules, what did your daughter do to test you at breakfast?
I did a facepainting job at a birthday party yesterday and made $150 bucks for two hours of work. Needless to say they were more than generous. I also finally found a bathing suit that looks halfway decent. It’s a maternity suit, one piece, all black. Found it at Macy’s. I almost gave up on finding one.
I am going to register for baby stuff today!!!

Hi girls- My follicle is being stubborn. Still there this morning. My LH went from 4.6 to 24 and I am not sure what it was today, but they said I am starting to ovulate. I am hoping my follicle is gone tomorrow. They said it looks like monday or tues. So my transfer will be Thursday or Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!! I let you all know if it is gone tomorrow. Then the shots and progesterone suppositories begin.

I am dying in this heat. Not sure how I am going to amke it through the summer. Never had to be pregnant in the summer before. Lisa I know what you mean about getting up 3xs a night to go to the bathroom.

Lyly,your early transfer must be a very nice surprise for you!
I'm going in tomorrow morning for a final u/s before the transfer(hopefuly) on Friday to see if the lining thick enough and probably tommorow I'm starting my very favorite part of the whole process-progesterone shots...Aghhh
I'm kind of jealous of the rest of you girls because summer still somewhere else in my area,we didn't get even to 80' yet,I don't mind hot weather.

Lisa - what did my daughter do to test me at breakfast - u had to ask? There was an extra straw in my car which she asked if she could bring into Denny's - I had no problem with that as she unwrapped it walking around with it in her mouth... anyway, she dropped it on the floor of Denny's and still anted to put it in her mouth. I tried taking it away but she flipped. When our drinks came she wanted to swap drinks and put her nasty straw in my drink. I would not let her so she had a fit that sent her kicking and scream to the floor. Then her grapes came and she started throwing them at me out of anger. So, I got up and said let's go home. I started to walk out when she chased me, and began hugging me as if she was sorry. psycho 3 yr old! Aren't you glad you asked. Face painting, huh? I bet you are good at it being an art teacher and all.
Lyly - Don't worry about your follicles being slow. There is a girl on my chat that was about to give up hope and just yesterday she went back and all of a sudden they grew very well. She is so happy. Yours will grow too. You have come this far! I believe it will happen. Fingers crosed!!
JasJulesMom - How are you handling the heat and staying cool?
Marina - Be happy you don't have our hot and humid weather - it sucks when you are pregnant!!! I am always worried about swelling. How did your u/s go?
I am sorry I don't respond on this site much anymore - but I feel like every time I try to log on it is down.
