Hi Girls!!!!! Gosh!!! It's been soooooo long since i posted....so much to catch up on!!!!

My internet was down, then my computer crashed thanks to a virus and i only got back my laptop today! ....anyway i kept busy reading everything i could get my hands on to help me prepare for Zara's arrival.

First of all....Julie...CONGRATS!!!! I can't wait (well i could for a few more weeks) to join you!!! I havent checked my email yet so i havent seen her pics yet but i hear she is adorable! from what i;'ve been reading, sleepless nights and sore boobs are all part of the territory - what fun to look forward to :)

Lisa!!!! You jumped the gun!!! or rather your two little boys did!!! :) :) That must have been some date night kiddo!!!! Anyway, i am so glad that you and the boys are ok. How long will they have to stay in the hospital??? My thougts and prayers are with you all and maybe we'll be able to chat again soon...i have to reinstall MSN messenger but hopefully i'll be able to get to it this evening.

Ronda, Debbie, Jen....how are you girls doing? Ronda...so far my due date is Nov 12th but we are planning to do a C-section so the big day may actually be around Oct 30-Nov 02...we havent set a date yet. I actually started packing my bags for the hospital though...just in case...this is even before i found out about Lisa and now i am convinced i better be prepared!!!

Lyly - my heart aches for you hon. I so hoped that it would work out this time.

Marina - you had me cracking up while i read some of yur recent posts! i feel your frustration my friend but i think its great you can have a sense of humor about it all. I hope something works out for you.

Tanya - i'm so sorry about your bfn but hang in there and don't give up!

Jaime - i'm so happy for you...believe me, i know about living from scan to scan and appt to appt. My hcg levels were low at first as well and i was terrified of a mc...i think i only started realxing and enjoying my pregnancy from around the middle of my 2nd trimester. Stay positive and talk to you little one. I also prayed alot and still do so that the rest of this journey will bring my little girl safely to me.

If i left anyone out, i'm sorry...i will make it up another time.

lots of love to all of you...i missed you girls a whole bunch!!!

Julie, how awful!!! >:( shouldnt you be on maternity leave though?

JasJulesMom - September 3

Hi all- It has been so crazy the last couple of days trying to get the kids ready to go to school. DD is starting kindegarten and ds is going to 7th grade.

Lisa- I am so glad the babies are doing so well. Hope you can get some rest. Do you plan on going back to work before they get out of the hospital?

Ronda- Congrats on the glucose test. Believe me I know gestational diabetes sucks!!!! I cannot eat anything I want and am so sick of the things I can eat, although glad to say I have the blood sugar under control for now.

Reshema- I have missed you. So glad you are doing well. Hope you are taking it easy. Are you ready for the baby? I know you are a bit scared to buy anything?

Lyly- How are you holding up. Any more info yet?

Marina- Did you finally get your sperm sample sent to...I believe..Chicago?

Jamie- Keep the faith, it seems things are progressing well. I know it is hard to do and I do not take my own advice, but try not to worry.

Julie- So sorry to hear about your job. Can thye do that legally while you are on maternity leave? Sounds a bit underhanded and I would not take it too easily.

Anyone hear from Jen? Hope she is doing well.

Hi girls- I saw the RE today. I had to drive 45 minutes to his other office so I would not have to wait until the end of sept beginning of oct for a post ivf follow up. Small price to pay. Anyway, he said he recommends me trying the FET. He wanted me to only put 2 in at a time so I could have 2 FET's with the 4 left (if they made the thaw) but was agreeable to letting us put all 4 in if they make it. One embies does not look so good but the other 3 are ok quality, so who knows. He said he did not see any reason for the laparoscopy and doesn't see why we wouldn't be able to get pg if we just keep trying. He wants me to have an endometrial biopsy after I ovulate this cycle and hormone replacement FET will start as soon as I get my next period. So I should have the transfer early october. He told me sometimes the biopsy makes implantation easier on the next cycle. Something to do with more blood vessels to heal the spot they clip makes it more rich for the embies to implant. So we will see. If this doesn't work then we will do another fresh! Sorry I dont' have time for personals it was a long day and I have to get to bed for work tomorrow.

Marina - September 3

Hi guys
Reshma-I'm glad to hear from you! :)It's been a long time,I'm glad to see you are doing well and getting ready for baby to come.AFM,I'm trying to stay positive, looking for plan B,trying to live my life no matter what, see my friends.

Debbie-we did that stupid test ::),or I should say-my dh did,and the whole thing was rediculous. The courier was supposed to pick it up at 8 a.m(after sample liquefy for 1 hour).First, they called us like 3 times asking for Adam(my dh's name is not Adam! )Finaly, they got it right. When we opened the door,we saw a young chick, maybe 3 years older then my son,in PJ pants, chewing gum,her hair was all messed and standing up like she just woke up,PREGNANT!!! :oI almost fell over.Of course,I did not expect person in black toxido and a bow tie,but even pizza guys look more professional! She didn't have a cooler with her or dry ice or any type of paperwork. >:(She told me "not to worry".Anyway,I was pissed, called the company told them everything. So will see what comes from that test,if it's even reliable.
In a mean time I started accupanture today with some chinese herbs.I know it's contravertial whether to use herbs or not with IVF,but I think I'll do it untill we'll get a clear picture what and when we are going to take our next step.

Ronda-what a relief on your test! Now you can relax a little.
Julie,
they had no right to do that. Are they going to pay you at least your maternity leave? How is baby doing?

Lyly-are you and dh going to doo accupancture?
Tanya-how are you?

Jules614 - September 3

RB - No, I was supposed to go back to work Monday. I am a contractor so I don't get benefits.

JasJulesMom - How are you feeling. Is it nice to have your kids start school? Or will you miss them?

Marina - How do you like acupuncture? I have never tried it. I want to but it is so expensive.

Julie

RB - September 4

Julie, it still sucks though! I guess on the bright side, you do have more time to spend with Kaitlyn. How does Sam like being a big sister?

Debbie...i actually started shopping and once i started its like i couldnt stop...LOL. I have my nursery furniture all bought and waiting to be assembled. The nursery is painted but we have some renovations that are still to be completed at home so i'm waiting for my house to get back to some order before i finish the nursery. Hopefully it will all be ready in about another couple of weeks. I am counting on my little one to not give me any early surprises :) How are you coping with the diabetes? they made me do the test twice because the results were a bit strange and now i have to test my sugar at home twice a week and keep a log. So far its within the normal range but my OB seems to think i may develop gd later on. I guess its because of my weight and the pcos...on the positive side...i've only gained 8lbs so far so we'll see....

Has anyone heard from Lisa? I tried calling her today but didnt get through.

Hope the rest of you girls are having a good day.

Reshma

vw79girl - September 4

Girls... :) :)
first off, thank you so much for all of your prayers and good wishes.
I am EXHAUSTED! Everytime I even think of the computer, it is time for me to pump milk. I think by Monday I will be on some sort of a schedule. I got home on Tues. evening and had so much stuff to "unpack" as the dr. had told me originally I could be in the hospital up to a month if they could keep them in that long. We received so many cards, flowers and little presents in the few days I was in the hospital. People have been so wonderful.

I am doing fine. It is weird to not have my belly anymore and it makes me sad sometimes they aren't in me nor are they home. I find myself crying for like 5 minutes and then I am okay. They are both doing well and for the most part breathing on their own. Paul had to have the respirator put back in yesterday so he stepped back a bit but the nurses assure us that is normal and that they are both doing great. The NICU here at our hospital is Amazing. They are really good and I have the utmost respect and confidence in them. I got to take some pictures of both of them today and I posted them on Livespace and on the site: www.easysite.com/fedorBOYS. I updated that site as well. I just can't wait to hold them and to be able to start feeding them. I am bringing my milk in every day and they are getting it ready for them to take soon. Next week I will start kangaroo-ing. :) They are such little peanuts and we love them sooooo much.

The hospital food...haha you guys are funny. It is so good ... honestly. I ate like a pig of course but let me tell you, the night before they came, Greg and I went to Cactus Jacks and I GORGED. It's like I knew it was my last meal or something. I was so full for so many hours after, I felt like I would never sleep. Interestingly enough I had a phenomenal slumber that night, woke up at like 9 and did a few food prep things and voila...my water broke as I was laying on the couch.
and no Ronda...you can never be too prepared. Get all of your stuff ready, 'cause you never know.

you should see how little their diapers are, they look like little maxi pads lol.

Lyl and Jules...thinking of you girls and I promise I will be online soon so we can chat. you too Reshma, thank you for your voicemail and I got your E-card Jules, I am sorry to hear about your job. That really is crappy!

Ronda...sorry I couldn't wait for you and Resh...I hope you enjoy the rest of that pregnancy. I feel like I kinda got jipped. :( I never even got the results of my glucose test as the next day after it, I delivered!

Jenny...where are you girl? One of the nurses in the NICU is having triplets, I thought of you.

Debbie-How is everything going with you? I plan to be out until Oct. 6 and then go back until they come home and stay out into March. That is the plan and we will not lose any insurance. Unfortunately I will get docked one pay period but it is well worth it!!!

Tanya and Marina...hang in there, I am always praying for you two!

Jules614 - September 4

wow Lisa - with all you have going on, you still have time to write us! You are the internet queen! I was just as bad. I had my lapt top with me in the hospital as well. I was e-mailing everyone hours after delivering.

My Mother in Law arrived last night. She is here for two weeks to help me. She was supposed to watch the baby while I went back to work - I guess that is not happening!

Kaitlyn has her baby naming this Sunday! I hear we are possibly getting tropical storm Hannah that day as well. That is just like me to pick the one day we will have awful weather!

Julie

JasJulesMom - September 4

Lisa- Glad the boys are doing well and the pictures are great. I am OK> I have some days where my body just aches but for the most part i am good.

Reshema- The diabetes is not so terrible. For the most part i have it under control.(wish i could say the same thing about my cravings) I do have pcos and I am on a serious health kick after the baby. I definitely do not want to develop diabetes later in life.

As for me i just returned from OB. I lost 3lbs and everything else looked good. Baby's heartrate was good. I am now trying to schedule my c section. That has been a bit of a hard time since my regular OB is on vacation. The way i look at it is 38 weeks is 38 weeks whether is he is on vacation today or not. Anyway, I have an ultrasound appt later today because they need to monitor the baby's size due to the diabetes. I am bringing the kids with me so they should enjoy it and I get to see another picture of my beautiful girl.

Lyly- How are you doing?

Jules614 - September 4

JasJulesMom - God luck with your u/s. Glad to hear your baby is looking healthy - there is nothing more gratifying than that! You are already 31 weeks - 75% done... who hoo!

Hey girls.

Lisa, I am so pleased to hear everything is going well. You will have a million ups and downs in the next few weeks and it is very tiring but you will make it and what a joy it will be to bring those little darlings home!

Julie, I hope you miss the storm for the naming day! But good or bad weather I am sure you will enjoy it.

Lyly, it is great to hear you will be able to go straight into your FET.

Reshma and JasJulesMom thanks for your good wishes.

Marina, I am pleased you have the stupid test over and done with. I hope the results are good for you.

I had a bit of a nightmare last week. I had to go to the doctor (remember I moved from where my clinic was so am just going to the local hospital now) to get more cyclogest. She took me into this little room off her office for an ultrasound and then after she got started complained about the machine and asked me to change rooms. After changing rooms she fiddled around for ages and then asked if she could do an internal ultrasound. She fiddled around doing that for ages and could not find the heartbeat. By this point I was convinced it was all over. Anyway, she sent me off to radiology for another ultrasound (by this time I was sure that was the end of the pregnancy) and they found the heartbeat instantly!! Stupid doctor was just inexperienced I think. Anyway, everything was looking fine. I measured 7w 2d and I was actually 7w 6d so it seems to be catching up a bit. And the heart beat was 166 bpm. So as you can imagine I am still feeling nervous about the whole thing. After begging the doctor she has me going back for another ultrasound in 2 weeks. She wanted me to wait 4 weeks - I told her I might die of worry if I had to wait that long! Keep your fingers crossed for me that this pregnancy will go all the way!!

Jamie- Glad to hear everything is going well. It is crazy, all the nutty doctor's you will meet along the way.

Ladies I m feeling down today. I am so tired of all these appointments. I now find out I have to go for a Non stress test twice a week on top of OB and endocrinologist all due to the gestational diabetes. The specialist I met with yesterday was so scary. He gave me all these worst case scenarios and then finished by saying I am on track so don't worry. Of course that line is not the one that constantly goes through my head, it is all the scarry stuff he told me. I hate it!!! The other thing is I have all these appointments and still need to work, are you kidding me!!! They make it sound like no big deal, just explain it to your boss. I really need to have this baby already!!!
