Hi Marina,
How are you doing ? How was your vaccation. Are you still in bedrest.

Today they are doing my third HCG test. And then I am schedule for the u/s on 28th (at the 6 week one day pg stage).

1. Just wanted to know, how long they do the Progesterone test ? What is the interval date between one progesterone test to the other ?

2. How the plan works after the 1st u/s. Do we have to wait two weeks to go to the gynocologist ?

Or do they schedule any other test in between ?

As you are two week ahead of me, I think I will get current information from you ?

Sirenexyz,
I'm a little confused-are you asking about HCG tests?Because they do progesteron and HCG at the same time, they just don't talk a lot about prog. number as long as it's normal(more than 25),mostly because it should be normal-we are taking shots every day! So,they 'll do them as long as they check for HCG levels.
After the 1st u/s(purpose of this to see if pregnancy in the right spot, not in your tubes),you'll have another one in 2 weeks-this one shows if your baby's heart start beating(at 8 weeks). After that,it depends on your clinic-mine watch you only until 8 weeks, than off you go to see your ob and go from there as it was regular PG.

O ya,and they only did an extra progesteron test on me because I was bleeding to make shure I'm not having a m/c.I'm off bedrest now, since bleeding stoped a few days ago.

Congratulations. Thanks for the answers. In your previous answer you told that after 2000 HCG level they only check the progesterone level. So thats why I wanted to know in how many days interval they do the P4 test. But now I am clear. Thanks

Hello,

I am new here and did my HcG shot on Friday morning. Have to do blood work on 1/12; seems so far away. Reading your journeys has actually been helping so thank you for sharing.
My DR. had me roll on my right side after "the deed," I know I had three good follies on the right and two on the left. Do you think laying on the side really works; I did it but felt kinda funny.

Hi jamnmark,

I am relatively new here too, but have found it all really helpful. It sounds to me like you possibly did IUI? I did IVF, and I'm sure took many more hormones than you cause I produced 18 follicles. After my HcG shot I was not given any specific instructions. Only after my embryo transfer was I told to be on bed rest for 3 days and if I had to get up roll on my side to avoid use of my stomach muscles. Sorry if I was not of much help, but I am sure someone else can answer your quesitons. Everyone is super helpful and nice.

Best of luck!

Hie jamnmark
well come too the forum, what treatment r u doing?
lotts of baby dust

I am not doing iui or ivf yet, I have been on Repronex for three weeks, the first two were lower dosages and then I did 225cc/2X a day for the last week. My stomach itches from all the shots.
I do have one son and somehow when I was breast-feeding my Pituitary gland produced so much prolactin that it shut down my LH hormone so they had to re-trigger my ovaries. Too sum it up. Took 3 years to figure this out though.

I concieved my first daughter with fertility drugs but withour iui, also. They told me all knds of tricks. How often to have sex and everything. It didnt work so that last month that we got to try at home without iui the day i ovulated we both called out sic of work and had sex all day long well it worked. She was my only pregnancy that was not iui, out of 7. This pregacy was iui also.

Hello,

I am on day 5 of the wait and had a little cramping last night on my right side and this morning I am having cramping, feeling warm and nausea. Is this normal for the fifth day?
By the way, hope everyone had a great new year's eve! I gave in at 10.

Hello,

I am a 36 year old single woman who has decided to go on this journey alone. I have PCOS and I am in the 2ww from my second IUI. I used a donor and I am trying to wait patiently but it isn't that easy. After my first IUI about 7 days later I started cramping and feeling like I was getting a period. I subsequently had a BFN. This time around no cramping, my breast are extremely sore and Im very cranky. I can't wait to find out and be a mommy> wish me luck!

Hi everybody,
Welcome new girls!
My New Years was very exiting-we ended up being in the hospital with our friend who we drove right from our holday dinner to have a baby! Her due date was Jan 1,but she was having mild contractions and we all were joking that we might spend New Years Eve in waiting room in the hospital-15 min after that she went to labor!
We thought she was joking, but her water broke...she had her little girl 1.5 later-20 min before New Year!!!Probably so fast from laghing at our jokes(and this is hers 4th child)Our husbands brought shampaine with us,so we had a wonderful New Years!

Jamnmark, the symptoms are so different, you can read our posts earlier, but the bottom line is your test-only then you'll know.Because during this 2ww you can have all the sumptoms or you'll have none and still be PG.I think what you feeling is normal, unless if you have a fever. Most of the girls on this forum had IVF orIUI,so we expiriense a lots of other sideeffects from our meds and it's realy hard to tell if this is a normal symptom or something else.

Focused, what a brave women you are! I wish you luck, and yes,it never was easy-the waiting game.Keep us posted,if you have questions feel free to ask!
