Just wondering if anyone can share their experience with me on my 1st failed IVF attempt. Do I continue immediately preparing for a second IVF? or should I take a break? If I do take a break, is 6 months too long?
I am very anxious to have a baby, I am just afraid that it may take a very long time hence I do not want to waste any precious time I have.

Hi MandyC - so sorry to hear your first attempt failed. I think it's really a personal decision based on your heart and of course your purse about when to try again. Most doctors will tell you that you can start again after one natural cycle. Myself, I think I rushed into my second cycle too quickly and my body wasn't ready. The doctors told me otherwise, but everyone is so different. Another important factor is your age...if I had it to do over again I would have started much younger (I'm 39)...Good luck with your decision...

i just had my first transfer and still don't know the results, but I do have a cousin that tried 3 times before getting pregnant. Then she had quads, from 2 embryos. 2 sets of identical twins at once. so that gives me hope.
