Hi ladies,

I am curious to see if any of you avoided certain things around the house...for example, vacuuming or bathroom/kitchen cleansers. I go for my pg test on Tuesday and after miscarrying in June, I have been trying to relax more.

I hear and read so many things. Just thought I would check with the experts...rather than be paranoid...

Thanks,

Sue

Sue,

CONGRATS!!

Well, as far as housework goes, I was told to avoid anything that had a strong odor or bad chemical smell, as well as any kind of lifting. AND, if you have a cat, avoid the litterbox because of toxemia concerns. Other than that, I would ask your OB what they want you to avoid...some practices are more conservative than others, so trust what your doc tells you...and ENJOY!

Again, congrats and keep us posted!!

HeatherMac,

I don't go for my pg test until tomorrow morning, so I am not sure if i am pg yet. I didn't do the hpt.

I was told the same, but also not to vacuum, I guess because of the movement... I don't have a cat, so that's fine.

Hopefully, I will have a reason to worry...

Thanks for the advice. Take care.

Sue

Sue, I was weeding outside when I started bleeding for the first time. My RE said that it was not my fault and it probably would have happened anyway but I have been avoided strenuous work ever since. We do so much to make it work so anything you feel unsure about is not worth the risk. Take care of yourself and BEST of luck today!! I sure hope to read good news! Karen

Cassandra,

I feel good, just tired and hungry a lot and I can't stand to wear a bra!! I haven't had any nausea, so that has been good. Not sure if it's too early or I just won't have any.

I know seeing 3 sacs is good and my hcg at 7259 is good also, but I will be more comfortable after hearing the heartbeats.

I will let you know how it goes on the 22nd.

Take care,

Sue

YEAH!!!!! More triplets. I am so excited for you, and will be glued to my computer on Thursday. (I actually have an u/s then too....25 weeks)

In the beginning of my pregnancy, I read a lot of horrible stories on how mothers of multiples have very difficult pregnancies with double/triple the morning sickness etc.....fortunately, for me, I had very little morning sickness and overall, my pregnancy has been relatively easy. I wish the same for you.

I am sure you are dealing with a ton of emotions. I remember being so thrilled yet so scared and nervous about having three babies. I am here for you anytime.

Keep us posted on Thursday, and find some time to squeeze in some naps. CONGRATULATIONS Xs 3 ;D ;D ;D

SMS1129 - September 20

Thanks, ElizabethS...so far so good. I haven't had any nausea, just really tired all of the time. I can't take naps during the week because of work (gets in the way, doesn't it??). On the weekends, I try to relax, but I am usually trying to catch up on things around the house. It never ends....

I will let you know how it goes on Thursday.

Good luck with your u/s.

Sue
