M/Cs due to Endometriosis or TTC w/endometriosis?

HI All!

I was just diagnosed with endometriosis 2 nights ago when my Dr performed an emergency lap on me bc she thought I was having a tubal pregnancy. Which wasn't a tubal at all but was endometriosis.

Now my Dr thinks this is the reason for my m/cs. Anyone in a similiar situation?

Thanks--I'm so glad I found this board! ;D

I TOO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS AFTER HAVING 7 M/CS. THE DOCS SAID IT WAS DUE TO THE LACK OF THICKNESS OF MY WOMB LINING. I WENT FOR IVF AND HAD PROGESTRON SEPOSITERIES TO THICKIN THE LINING AND AIDE IMPLANTATION OF THE EMBRYO. WE HAD A BOY IN 2003 AND LAST JULY WENT FOR IT AGAIN I WAS THRILLED TO BE EXPECTING TWINS THIS TIME BUT SADLY ONE STOPPED GROWING AT 16WKS. WE NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER BUT I WILL NEVER STOP WONDERING WHAT SEX THE OTHER TWIN WAS AND DID I MAKE THE RIGHT DESCION LETTING THE DOCTORS TAKE IT AWAY AND NOT SEE IT OR SAY GOODBYE.

LUCYLOU--I'm so glad you replied back. I have posted that message on different boards and so many people have written back saying that endo doesn't cause m/cs; it causes infertility. Thank you for your inspirational story! How did you go through 7 m/cs?? A first cousin of my mom also has endo and she suffered 7 m/cs as well before she had 2 kids. Congrats to you on your sucess of having children! I can't wait until that day comes for me!

hi again, i was also told by many people endo only caused fertility probs...until i found a wonerful dr who assured me he could help me... he explained that with endo the lining of my womb wasnt thick enough to hold or let an emrbyo implant ,over the years it had taken its toll on my tubes so i had to get ivf treatment.. so during the implantation of the embryos i was also given progestron pess... now ive heard they dont work for somepeople, that only progesterone injections do but everyone is different, but they thickened the lining of my womb and i carried my babies to term.. so if your dr thinks this is the cause of your m/cs have a chat and see if they can give you anything that will help.

9 miscarriages and 2 ectopics later... I am still battling with endometriosis....

But there is hope...

After 6 months on Lupron shots most of it's gone and I am almost six weeks pregnant and my HcG levels are good....

Dont give up!!! Never Give up!! If you dont like the answers and solutions youre getting go somewhere else, BUT NEVER give up!!

It took 16 years and I am still at risk BUT I WONT GIVE UP!!
