where to turn to, is there hope?

I have been trying to get pregnant for a long time. I had IUI, from which I ended up losing my tube. It was such a horrible experience. I always wanted to have children, and day by day I am losing hope. I am 34 now, and I left my job and even moved to florida, so I won't be as stressed. My husband and I have been trying, but at what point does one just give up? Financially, we are not able to afford IVF, however if needed we will somehow manage to come up with the money, but who do I turn to? Please advise...

Hi again :)

Check out ivfconnections dot com for ideas on financing ivf. Go to the bulletin boards, then click on IVF, then on "stressful situations" and you'll see a whole board for "Financing IVF." You can also check out fertilethoughts dot com. On both these sites, you can connect with other women struggling with infertility and get ideas on how to pay for all this. Tons of info and support.

There are even some studies you can enroll in and get free or discounted IVF. And credit cards that you only use for fertility treatment.

I wish you all the luck in making your baby dream come true :)

Thanks again for the info. It is such a great feeling knowing that someone is there, who is helpful and who can relate as well. Recently I came to know more women who are having a hard time getting pregnant and who have no one to turn to. Your info will not only help me but all the others as well, so again thank you.
