Get this yall.. I went to get my med records from that Gyn that I was seeing so I could go to the RE and OMG I was reading on them and he had put in them that he had discussed with me the possibility of using Metformin to incourage my ovulation.. He really has a nerve.. All he discussed with me was the fact I needed to lose weight.. Also, I read that when I first went to him back on 05 he suspected PCOS but he never said a word.. I could have dealt with this a year ago, but instead he waits till Jan. of this year to even bring it up... What has the med profession come to? I hope this RE Im going to on the 19th is better than this.... Sorry yall for the Big B session but I am just so ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.............. >:(

Sorry you went trough all that. I have had a pretty bad month myself. I just recently found out that both my tubes were blocked. I went through the whole process of them trying to unblock them. Spent boocoo money. They found out that I scar easily and terribly. Finally we were told that we had to do IVF. I wish I had have known that before we shelled out all that dough. But, I am not upset about the money. Just upset and frustrated about the wait. We have been waiting since we had our last one back in 02. But they sent me way to Little Rock and we live in Southaven. It is a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive one way. Only to get there and the Dr. to treat us like pure trash. She came around the corner to call us in her office and she had that look on her face. She was judging us. I am 30 and my husband is 32. I know that we look like we are 16 and 17 its been a blessing and a curse. But, she talked to us like we weren't anything. She was very hurtful, rude and down right nasty. It is already a trying time to go through as it is. If you are a woman of color I advise you not to go to her. She has a problem with skin color.

snoopy i had the same problem my first time around with fertility. I was 20 at the time and my husband was 22. All the women at the place we went had like 5ct diamonds on their hand and everyone looked at us like we were too young and trash.

I feel a little better knowing that others know what I am talking about. I felt like the worst thing in the world. I felt lower than scum. Truth be told I still haven't gotten over it. It will probably stick with me until I do get through this then it won't be of any importance.

Hi, I also am on metformin, as I guess pcos is an insulin resistant disorder. my doc also feels this will help the ovaries not produce so many cysts. Good luck to you!
