Getting Pregnant after Abdominal Myomectomy and age 41

I wanted to know if anyone had any success or recommendations as to how I can conceive after having a 22cm fibroid removed. I hear I should wait 4 mos before even trying to conceive but I also know that each month counts so want to increase my chances as soon as I can.
