Too early for u/s?

I had three beta tests last week and here are the results:

Mon. - 67
Wed. - 236
Fri. - 873

My doubling time is around 25 hours each time so if it stays on the current track, my HCG level will be over 2,000 on Monday. I've been having spotting for an entire week now, so I'm scheduled for an u/s Monday morning. Will it be too early to see the sac? I'm so worried that we'll see an empty uterus only because it's too early.

Thank you!

From your hCG levels, you are probably fine. I generally wait until 6 to 7 weeks after last menses to do an ultrasound. At 5 weeks, you should see a gestational sac. You might see a fetal heart at 5 weeks, but is muche easier at 7 to 8 weeks.
Good luck.

I just wanted to update my u/s today.

We saw one definate sac with a tiny yolk sac inside and two possible sacs. The RE would not call them "sacs" she said it was just too early to tell but they were clearly black circles on the screen, just smaller then the first one she did call a "sac". I'm to return in 11 days. :)
