I am using donor sperm for IUI. Do you know what the ideal sperm counts should be for an IUI ? In particular, what are the optimal numbers for a postwashed sample? Are these counts referring to motile sperm vs. total count?
Another question: is there any data to suggest whether using frozen sperm is less effective than fresh sperm for IUI?

You want to inseminate at least 5 million motile sperm. There are some old data which imply that pregnancy rates are a bit higher with fresh sperm. Today, I doubt you will find anyone who will use fresh donor sperm.
