Dr. Jacobs....
Sorry to ask another question, but I really would like your advice.
When I was a teenager, my periods were pretty painful for the first day...I would use a heating pad and take a nap. I went on birth control pills and didn't have any pain at all....I have been off birth control pills for about 6 months and do not have pain. Should I worry that because I had painful periods as a teenager, but no pain now that there may be some endometriosis or blockage? Or is it normal for some women to experience painful periods as teenagers with no adhesion problems?
Thanks!

I am glad you are no longer having pain. From symptoms, alone, there way to determine if you have endometriosis, or what may be impairing your fertility. If you are younger than 35, see a Reproductive Endocrinologist in about 6 months , if you are not pregnant. If you are over 35, you do not need ot wait any longer. See a Reproductive Endocrinologist for evaluation and treatment of your infertility. Good luck.
