questions about lining

Dr. Jacobs,

I had my transfer the other day and my lining was just over 7mm. It had been around 9mm until the day after the trigger shot. What could account for the drop? I only stimmed for 6 1/2 days. Could it be that my lining didn't have enough time to stabilize at a greater thickness? I had a D & C (due to miscarriage) in Nov. Could this have affected my lining? This is my 3rd cycle and lining wasn't a problem before.

Also, what do you think my chance of success is? The RE transferred 5 day 3 embryos: (3) 8 cell, (1) 10 cell and (1) 11 cell, all with 5% fragmentation.

I've read that a lining over 7mm is ok, but isn't it true that my chances would be much greater with a thicker lining?

Thanks for your time.

I wish I could prognosticate for you. The linig needs to be greater than 7 mm thick on the day of hCG administration to be able to support a pregnancy. The fact that you had good embryo developement is encouraging.
Good luck.
