Hi Doctor,
I was recently diagnosed through bloodwork and HSG with PCOS and Bicornuate uterus. I have 2 questions: One is I've been taking Met 1500 mg for 3 1/2 mos and have had no change in facial hair or weight (I've been eating healthy and working out) should I up my dosage to 2000 mg? Second question: with the 2 conditions do I really have any chance of conceiving and giving birth? I feel so defeated and scared and read so much about miscarriages with both conditions. Do you think if I did become pregnant my doctor would allow me to be on "bed rest" the entire time just to be careful?

Please see the information about PCO I have provided on our web site, <www.texasfertility.com>. Once you achieve a pregnancy, you do not need to remain at bed rest. In fact, bed rest for you entire pregnancy could endanger you. Good luck.
