Ovualation after OHSS

Hi, completed my 7th cycle of injectables/IUI, failed, went in for baseline u/s to start new cycle. Discovered OHSS - 3 follicles each in excess of 40mm on day2 of my cycle. This tx cycle cancelled and was told to "give it a go on my own" does this mean that there is a chance of my ovulating this month even with the OHSS? Forgot to ask the question before leaving and my RE's office is not willing to answer my question over the phone and due to the fact I'm not in an active cycle I can't get an appt.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your time.

Approximately 3% of the time, there are residual cysts after gonadotropin stimulation of ovaries. This is NOT a hyperstimulation syndrome. A hyperstimulation syndrome includes multiple other findings, is at its worst about a week after hCG, then improves. By the time of your subsequent menses, it is gone. The cysts you currently have will probably be gone with your next flow.
Good luck.
