male factor infertility and alcohol AND IVF

Right now I'm on my last week of birth control pills in preparation for an IVF attempt. I would guess the transfer would be around the end of the 2nd week of March. Our issue is male factor infertility.
Would one drink one or two nights a week at this point be a problem for my husband or would there be no effect? We're going out to dinner with some friends on Saturday and, although I know my Dr. said I could have alcohol up until I start stims, I'm not sure what the typical guidelines (if any) are for men.

have seen no data to imply that modest alcohol consumption would be a problem prior to IVF. Teh recommendation in the U. S.

I have seen no data that modest alcohol consumption will produce a problem with IVF. The recommendation in the U. S. is that pregnant women hould not drink, at all.
