lymphocytes

Sorry about all the questions! My lymphocyte count came back as 19.2 and the "normal" range is 20-40. I was being treated for a urinary tract infection at the time the labworks was taken. Is this count too low? Could it be an indicator of a problem?

Thanks!

Your lymphocyte count is not significantly low. It is expressed as a percentage of the total white blood cells. Since the granulocytes are probably a little elevated, or in the upper end of normal range, something else would have to be a liitle lower. It is nothing for you to worry about.
