Dr. Jacobs,
1. How are immunilogical/T-cell issues ruled-out prior to IVF?
2. What tests do you perform to rule-out immunity problems?
3. Would an endometrial biopsy be helpful in determining the presence of T-cells within the uterine lining whcich would prevent implantation?
4. What are the signs and symptoms that a patient's IVF failure is due to immunilogocal/T-cell issues?

The answer to your first 2 questions is "I don't" Data have been published indicating that routine imunologic testing before IVF is not helpful. Only one group has published any data implying tha T-cell testing and treating is of any value. No one else has been able to duplicate their results - very suspect. I do an endometrial biopsy to test for an adhesion molecule found to be important for embryo implantation. For more information, please see our web site, <www.texasfertility.com>. Good luck.
