Dr. Jacobs
I'm currently going through my second IVF cycle. I'm taking microdoses of Lupron 8 units AM and PM and Gonal F 300 units AM and PM. I currently have 13 follicles but only 6 eggs at 21, 16, 13, 10, 10, and 10. With all this medication am I still considered a poor responder? Do you think the cycle will be converted to IUI? Why are the eggs growing at such different rates?
Thanks for your help. Kim

It is not that your follicles are growing at different rates, it is that they were different sizes at the beginning of the stimulation. I cannot predict what your doctor would do. The only patients for whom I do IVF are the ones which IUI will not benefit, or has already been tried. Good luck.
