Good Morning Dr. Jacobs,
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 and 1/2 years. I have been doing IUI's for past 3 cycles. I took Repronex last cycle and ended being in high risk of OHSS. So IUI got cancelled but we had unprotected intercourse. I'm on cycle day 4 and going to have IUI done this cycle.(No repronex though). my nurse told me that I would be having almost 7 mature follicles by cycle day 14. Still no pregnancy achieved. I'm wondering may be I have so many follicles but actually no ovum in it. Is it possible to have mature follicles and no ovum? Is there any test to find out that my follicles are good. Excuse my ignorance.

No, there really is no test for eggs, except to do IVF. Even though you do not know if the eggs will produce a pregnancy, until you grow and transfer embryos.
