After multiple IVF failures with repronex, my RE is recommending a natural IVF cycle using Femara and a few injections of FSH. He said this is sometimes used for thin women (I am only 112 lbs). Have you heard of this protocol before? What do you think. (I am 32 with day 4 FSH of 9.8)

I have used that kind of protocol a couple of times for women who responded poorly for ovulation induction. I have not used it for IVF. It is certainly a reasonable idea.

but won,t femara cause birth defects.......it can.
so isnot there another drug to cure thin endometrium

There was 1 report in the literature which speculated as to the possibility. There are no reliable data to support the contention. Of course the media thrives on terrorizing the public. Actually there are several studies reported, which cannot find an increased risk.
