Hi,
I just went in for an u/s and b/w to begin my Gonal-F injections for an IVF cycle. I have been on Lupron and BC pills (BC pills for the past three weeks and 10 units of Lupron for the past week)
The nurse just called and said my Estradiol is at 80 and we have to put off the Gonal-F. She wants me to come back next Friday to see if has gone down- she said they want it at 50.
What does it mean if your Estradiol level is too high at the start of IVF? Could our cycle possibly be cancelled or do you think it will go down by next week? I will continue the 10 units of Lupron each night.

We usually do not get good stimulations if the estradiol is too high on cycle day 3. Given 1 more day, it might be OK. My cut off level is 70 pg/ml.
