estradiol levels

I am on my third cycle of IVF (have a 14 month old from first and have a failed one a few months ago). I have been a quick responder in the past and am with a new group. One goal was to have me respond slower and I am on day 10 of meds with anticipated hcg tonight (stimulation is gonal F). My e2 was 4272 today. should I have any concerns? in the past it was only 1000-1100 but in the past I have had hcg on day 6 or 7. my failed cycle resulted in only one viable embryo. I am 38 years old with 23 follicles. 70-75 percent look mature.

With an estradiol over 4200, you are at risk for a hyperstimulation syndrome. In our experience, retrieval of eggs prior to day 11 seems to produce a collection of eggs which is mostly immature.
Good luck.
