chances of getting pregnant with ART

Hello Dr Jacobs,
Would in your professional experience have noticed that women who have secondary infertility oppose to those with infertility (never conceived), are more likely to conceive with ART? Because their bodies have been pregnant before?
I am asking this as it appears those who respond well and have successful IUI or IVF are those who have conceived previously.

No cause for our inability to conceive has been found, after all the test on us both. The only factor found is my high prolactin levels, which I take Bromocryptine for, but I am told this is not a reason for our infertility.

Thank you so much for your time.
Allegonda

Weather or not a woman has had a previous pregnancy has little or no effect on her response to fertility treatments. I do not know what your problem is, which impairs your fertility. I assume there is a specific problem, which must be identified, and addressed, in order to optimize outcome.
Good luck.
