Dear Dr. Jacobs,
This is my third ivf but the first with donor eggs. Im 33 years old and lost one tube due to ectopic pregnancy and the other one has been cauterized. Other than that the doctors say everything looks great and actually gave me a 70% pregnancy rate with the donor eggs. So, I had embryo transfer on July 17 and on July 30 had a positive beta of 65 and have been tested twice weekly and now my hCG is at 14,000 within less than 3 weeks. According to the ivf due date calender I found online it shows that I should be 7 weeks 3 days. I have had two vaginal US one at 6 weeks 2 days and one at 7 weeks 2 days and both showed a "empty sac". Is there a chance that it could still be to early to show a fetal pole? I'm really concerned also because at 13 days past transfer by progesterone level was only at 3.9 but as now increased to 22.7 as of Aug 11.
