Hello Ambersparkle!!! I am so glad you acknowledged me. I've been lurking on this board for about a year and have taking a specific liking to the circle that meets on this particular thread. You are all awesome.

Thank you for the wonderful welcome. I am 26, originally from RI, live in GA, Real Estate Agent, and desperately seeking baby!

I am so tired of going places and everyone's belly is bulging with bliss BUT MINE! I hate to sound like a brat, but what did I ever do to anyone to deserve this? Obviously I know better, but I can't help but to think I crossed someone in the past and it has come back to rear it's ugly head!

If you read a few posts up you will see that I am going through the same thing right now. I am a pre-k teacher and one of my mom's just had her new baby yesterday. I swear it is like EVERYONE is expecting but me... I am doing better now though. It's hard to keep things in perspective...

Just keep your chin up and your prayers coming...God hears them. :)

Lili246:
Unfortunately, I've not tried Ovulex, but I have tried it's much cheaper competitor called "Fertility Blend", it has some of the same ingredients and you can buy it at GNC. I am taking Geritol and Fertility Blend right now.

I was just wondering if anyones cycles got worse on the Ovulex? This month AF was 4 days late and came with a vengence, I ended up in the ER. I was just curious. Thanks!

Hi Steph and SaraRose,
I also have been on the Ovulex for a month now and when I got Af it showed up a few days late. She was lighter than usual and I thought wow this is not to bad. She stuck around for 7 days and then Bam 2 days later I was spotting again. I stopped taking the Ovulex to see and like you said SaraRose she came with the vengence. I have had her with me for 23 days now. SaraRose you ended up in the ER. How are you doing now and what did they tell you? Steph weren't you late with AF also? Keep me posted on how you are. I hope I don't end up in the ER. The doctor wants me to come in for BW to make sure I am not anemic now.Baby Dust and Hugs to all of you!!!

Babybop: WELCOME to the Ovulex Board!! I just wanted to let you know that I sent you a response to your e-mail on yesterday..I have been out of town & I just received your message on yesterday.
Also, I too live in the Atlanta area & I used to be a realtor......so I think that we may have a lot in common.

My prayers are with you all....
Monica

Hi Monique!
Welcome! I am also on the babycenter boards and I totally know what you mean about the cliques. I don't really understand it, but it definitely is very cliquey on there, so I don't post much. This is an awesome board, for sure! Everyone is great. Hopefully you stick around for a long time (even after you get a bfp ;) ).

SarahRose~ I'm sorry to hear about your trip to the ER. :( Hopefully you're doing better now. It's weird to me that so many dr's said Ovulex is okay but it does seem to mess up some ladies' cycles pretty bad. Hopefully things get better soon! I didn't really have any extreme pain with my AF while on Ovulex, but it didn't really help for the pain either. I had the same cramps as always, they just came on the third day.

To everyone else, good luck this cycle and lots of baby dust! I am currently waiting to O, and I have a feeling it's going to be a long wait. It ALWAYS is. :)

gavinsmommy,

How are things going? Any better? Hopefully AF will disappear soon. I am keeping you in my thoughts!

Good morning, Sisters!!!!!

Monica: I'm sure we have plenty in common. I am so glad that you've responded to my email. Thank you very much for the warm reception. I am far from home and I feel like I've just extended my family.

NANCY: Thank you for the wonderful welcome. I appreciate your acknowledgement and acceptance.

LeslieAnn: So you know what I mean, then? Don't get me wrong, I like the website and all of the women on there are fabulous, but it's too hard to break into their little circles and be accepted. So therefore, I think this is the place for me!

ambersparkle: YES!!! It's like when you buy a new car and suddenly everyone has the same car. I think I am just being sensitive.

Lili246: Listen to Nancy, she knows what she's talking about! I really can't afford Ovulex on a consistent basis, so that's why I went with Fertility Blend, that way I know that I can just pick it up at the local GNC without having to order it, etc. However, I don't know the difference nor do I recommend changing in the middle.....stick with it, you shall be successful! I can feel it!

Ladies, I would like to share my insanity with you this morning! I woke up at 5:30 AM, same as every morning! I flip flopped my way into the kitchen for the routine eggs, toast, and peppermint tea. I took a sip of my blissfully hot tea and began to make my eggs. In my sleepy haze, I think maybe a whole minute or two may have passed without the thought of ttc, temping, charting, geritol, fertility blend, or anything about babies! Which is a big deal for me. I was completely content in my skin this AM. I cracked open my egg to the rudest awakening that I've had since last Tuesday (AF showed up).........my egg had two yolks! And while in my conscious mind, I know that eggs are the fruit of conception, the first sensical thought in my head was "GEESH, even my breakfast is pregnant and I, being on CD4, definitely am not!"

Now, of course we all know that this doesn't make much sense because Eggs cannot be pregnant, but this is how insane I've become. I NEED AN INTERVENTION! I've consumed more vitamins than an entire geriatric ward. If I get a cold this year, that will be crazy because Robitussin and I have been having an intense affair. The people at Walmart know me by name and every week when I am in there overstocking on OPK's and HPT's, the pharmacist says.....good luck this month, Monique! How embarrassing.

But I just had a thought that we should all consider.....my friend Jillian had a hysterectomy due to ovarian cancer. She's 28. She's not married or even involved with anyone, and she wasn't thinking about having children but now she definitely cannot. So while we whine and complain about all these procedures and supplements that we are reduced to taking.....imagine the possibility of not even being able to TRY! So i thank God every day for the ability to even TRY! I am thankful for hope!

Be thankful for hope ladies.....and for eachother!

BABYDUST~*~~*~*~*~*~in fact, so much babydust that it makes you all sneeze

Hey Monique,

Yes, I hear ya on the babycenter boards. They are still good places for info, but it is hard to really connect with the people on them, so I probably won't post much on there until I get pregnant and maybe not even then.

Don't you just miss the days when you didn't think about pregnancy all day long? DH gets mad when I come on these boards because he thinks it will make me more upset about having trouble ttc, but really I think it has helped me. In the beginning, I didn't read bulletin boards much and I just sat stewing over every little symptom and then I would get depressed when it turned out it was just pms. Now at least I can talk to people who are going through the same thing, so that helps.

I also agree with the FertilityBlend suggestions. It's so much cheaper, I will probably switch next cycle.

ambersparkle - July 7

Hey girls~ Good morning to all! Hope everyone is doing well today.

I wanted to ask about the ones of you who have experienced spotting or cervix-bleeding while on Ovulex. I am on my second week with Ovulex and when I woke up this morning I had some bleeding when I wiped (TMI, I know) It really freaked me out.

I'm sort of nervous about it now, but I guess in actuality it could even be AF coming, since my cycles are really off and I hadn't had AF for 3 months when I started the Ovulex. It will probably take a while for my AF to regulate...

But does anyone have any suggestions?? AF or just a side effect? Thanks!

babybop - July 7

Ambersparkle: I know that with Ovulex, it is supposed to strengthen your uterus and your cervix so perhaps this is just from that, however, I am no expert so it could be your AF as well. It may be that it is forcing a period on you so that your cycles will regulate. Think good thoughts!!!!
