Here I am this morning. I tell yah this AF sucks. I mean it is great without all the cramping and back aches. But still it is a good thing that it is after Labor Day I can not wear white!! hehe
I am not super upset anymore. I reset my FM this morning. I love that little thing it is so fun to play with. It is so exciting to see that little egg once a month.
I just ordered more Ovulex last night. I ordered the 3 bottles again. I am hoping that I do not have to use it I will give it to a friend of mine that wants to try it.
The puppies are getting funny that have this little bark to them now. so cute!!!!
Well I gotta go to work so I will check in later this morning.

Les23 - November 15

Hey there all. I have an idea. I know that over the years I have been changing and trying new things to ttc. So I am going to tell you all that I can think of that I have done differently.
This was my lifestyle about 5 years ago.
I woke up in the morning opened a Mt Dew and then Drank about 5 cups of coffee (not decaf) and then continued with the Mt Dew all day. I would consume about 6-7 a day. I mean I was wired most of the time. Then throughout the day I would smoke about a pack of cigs a day if not more. On the weekends the DH and I would go out drinking and partying and I would consume lots of alcohol and smoke lots of cigs. I would wake up in the morning and feel like such shit.
Today I have giving up my drink of choice (MT Dew) and now if I drink soda it is Decaf Diet Coke. I drink one cup of coffee with caffeine and then if I want more I make decaf at work here. I drink V8 Splash throughout the day along with "Coke" or milk, water. I have recently started drinking decaf green tea at night. I didn't like it at first I would make it hot. So I have tried with it on ice and I really like it now. Like last night I drank 2 glasses. I still smoke but I am not the chimney I was before. On the weekends I may drink one or two beers but not enough to make me feel like some beat me with a 2 by 4. I try to not take pain killers, I am taking Folic Acid and Ovulex. We BD every other night most of the time but sometimes it is every night. We have a very active sex life which has not really changed from the first time we were together which was about 6 years ago.
So on a more family note. I have 3 brothers I am the only girl. Clint is 36, Ryan 35, Me 26, and Lafe is 23. My mom is 56 and my dad would have been 55 he died about 3 years ago this coming March. He was fixing the a patch on the roof and fell and he had major head trauma. We miss him a lot but we all know that we will see him again some day.
I am married to a wonderful man named Dave and he has siblings as well. On my side we have 5 nephews and 2 Neices. They are all so cute. There is not and on Dave's side but we are waiting and hoping.
Well tell me a little about all of you.

Mahogany Heart - November 15

Well Les23 and Cin,

Wow! I was raised the only girl with five brothers. The oldest boys are decease so its me and my two younger brothers. Denard has four daughters Tot(12), Lala(6), Tete and KeKe(4) and two dogs. Ed is in his first year of college. My first marriage was a wreck left him in CA. Married here in 2003 a nice guy Ted.

My mom and dad divorce when I was 12. I really never did to much of anything really. I love blue crabs, wine and spoiling the girls. I have a 18 son De who is always on my nerves.lol. I had him when I was still in school. His father is a deadbeat dad. I'm like you Cin, I have the same six friends until I met my sisterhood. All my friends have two or more kids accept one.

I taken clomid since I been trying 1994. Had a Ectopic last year and ready for the ready. I believe in being positive and staying positive and knowing that "Nothing is to hard for God". I'm glad you all came into my life.

I Love My Sister Hood.

Wow I just had a crazy busy lunch. I went to JC Penney to return somethings and then went to Sears to pay my discover card bill. So my boss wanted me to drop off her winter coat at the cleaners so I went and did that. Then I had to go to Walgreen so get some tampons along with of course the newest issue of People Magazine. I have to keep up on the gossip. Plus there would have been no way I could pass up this issue. It has Kenny Chesney on the cover. He is the most talented/hot country singer. I mean he is my heart throb. I know that this was not going to work out with him Renee. When they split up I told the Dh look I have a shot now!! He just rolled his eyes. I told him though if Julie Roberts came knocking on the door and he did not go with her I would have to hurt him.
So I feel he should give me the same courtesy.
Anyways then I had to get me something to eat. So I ate chicken mcnuggets from micky d's. I had to have them. they are my favorite fast food. I figured if I had to deal with AF I could indulge in McNuggets!!!!

Ibuprofen. Pain relievers, such as Advil or Aleve, sometimes sabotage ovulation, particularly if you're taking them regularly. "If you're on fertility medication or have been trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant, just stick with acetominophen (Tylenol)," Notes Mitchell N. Essig, MD, an obstetrics and gynecology instructor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in the Bronx, who also has a private Manhattan practice in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Medications and Your Fertility
by Mary Kittel with Deborah Metzger, MD, PhD

Accutane. An acne treatment containing synthetic vitamin A, Accutane is linked to birth defects, including mental retardation. Because injury can happen in the first few weeks of pregnancy -- often before you know you're pregnant -- you may want to stop using Accutane or ask your doctor for a safer alternative before trying to conceive.

Antibiotics By altering cervical mucus patterns, antibiotics sometimes throw off ovulation while you're taking them. Studies have yet to definitively show, however, whether it's the antibiotics that temporarily squelch fertility or the illness being treated.

Antidepressants. Not only can depression drugs scramble your menstrual cycles, temporarily suppressing fertility, but research also indicates that they may boost your baby's risk of birth defects if you use them during pregnancy. For example, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors such as phenelzine (Nardil) and tranylcypromine (Parnate) have been shown to cause an increased risk of brith defects when taken during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Since you don't always know you're pregnant right away, consider weaning yourself off antidepressants or finding a safer alternative well before you conceive.

Antianxiety drugs. It is unclear how drugs such as diazepam (Valium) and alprazolam (Xanax) affect fertility, but like some antidepressants, their use has been found to cause an increased risk of birth defects during the first trimester. For this reason, it's wise to avoid taking them, if possible, when you're trying to get pregnant.

Cold and flu remedies with antihistamines. Designed to dry up overactive mucous membranes in your nose and throat, these popular remedies also occasionally thicken or dry up cervical mucus. For sperm, that's tantamount to swimming across a bone-dry desert or through a sea of Jell-O.

Corticosteroids. Creams and ointments containing corticosteroids are used to relieve the redness, swelling, and itching of skin conditions, like psoriasis. These products can cause irregular menstrual periods, depending on the potency of the drug and the amount used.

High blood pressure medications. Potassium-sparing diuretics that contain spironolactone (such as Aldactone) can also throw off menstrual cycles.

And Again Ibuprofen.

DADA5 - November 15

Hi Ladies! just a newbie here. but i can say that im really learning a lot! been married for 2 yrs & 10mos, TTC # 1. Had on/off visits to my OB.

Baby dusts to all of us! take care!

Andrea - November 15

sorry about af les23...next month!!!!!!!
you go right ahead and indulge

NOTE:
Beware of the diet soda, regualr is better, as it does not contain the harmful product, aspartame, that diet sodas do. (feels weird to say soda - in Canada we say Pop)
my best friend is a pilot and they are not allowed to eat/drink anything with aspartame because it causes seizers in regualr users
plus it is bad for you if you are ttc or pregnant
just a thought

Les23 - November 15

Thanks. I can not drink regular soda it is to sweet. Well I do not drink a lot of it anyways. I can just cut it out.
I hope you are feeling better. Have you taken another test to see if the line is darker?

Andrea - November 15

how do i feel??? so-so

i said to dh when he called to check on me (for the 10th time...lol) that if i didn't find out yesterday that i am pregnant i would have KNOWN today...food looks gross (although i am not sick or highly nauseated)......plus my boobs are killing me....ouchie....and all i want to do is nap today from my lack of sleep last night.
I am eating a warm chicken salad right now (i love 'em) and after about 1/2 way through i'm just not hungry for it anymore.....not like me
i might test again in a few days...but if my symptoms gradully increase as they have been since friday i probibly won't because i'll know my hormone levels are increasing...can't get in to see my obgyn now until the 30th.

Feisty - November 15

Hey every one im back. Im at school right now trying to finish my hw. I still havent called my doctor yet. Im going to wait till december because it says to consult a doctor after almost a year trying. In december it will be a year of me trying to conceive and i will consult my doctor. I also have to go because last month i had my first yeast infection and i didnt know what it was cause my mom never talked to me about yeast infections and how to get relief from it. My aunt told me to buy some pills and how to take them and it went away. But the weird thing was my period came on during the infection and i bled for one day heavily and the spotted for three days. i usually bleed heavily for three days and spot for two days.
