Hi all I recently found out my medicaid has ran out from my last pregnancy. When I went to refile for some assistance I basically got the feeling that I am being hasseled about potential fraud...yeah right. Just because my last social worker never reported that I moved or even tried to transferred my files, so I have to go through a lot more indepth things just to get ok'ed. So I decided to look on for help from my family so I don't have to deal with the system anymore. I heard Athem blue cross blue shield is a pretty good insurance that most hospitals and docs. accept. I need something that is reasonable but well worth it so my family can help me get the medical attention that is desperately needed. Any other suggestions...I'm located in Norfolk, VA.

June_First_2006,
When I got pregnant this last pregnancy I got the AIM insurance called access for infants and mothers. They really help you. Depending on your earning between you and your dh. They will charge you some percent that it's barely anything. I had to pay $705.00 that would cover my whole pregnancy and two momths after giving birth. That money you can make in payments between 12 months and it's not bad. You should check on that and see of they provide that where you live.
Good luck and keep me posted.

Howz the baby doing!

Take care.

Lili
