Ok...we all get cramps. But what are they like? When I go to a specialist or my ob and I say cramps they always assume AF or ovulation pains but no one takes the time to ask and know what the difference is. I would like to hear from different people on which cramps are which.
Here is mine...
Every month around CD 9 I start feeling "pangs & twitches" in my right ovary. By cycle day 14 I feel like I have a beach ball stuffed inside of my ovary that is about ready to explode. Totally different pain than before AF comes. Alot of time when the pain is the worst with my ovary I do not ovulate.
About 4-5 days after I ovulate I get this weird scratch (like a nibble) about an inch above my pelvic bone, where I am guessing is my uterus. It last for about 10 seconds 2-3 times throughout the day for maybe 1-2 days. I never ever feel that anytime throughout the month except for 4-5 days after I ovulate and it compairs to no feeling associated with cramps.
AF cramps is about 2 days before AF and a few days after AF arrives and it feel like tighened muscles, pressure and scraping throughout my lower ab, back and believe it or not, my butt.
This may seem like a weird topic, but it may help some people to read what others go through throughout the month. Let us know!!
