I do not have any experience with bloodclotting disorders, but I know that a lot of women on this board do. I just want to say that I am so very for your loss and I hope that you soon get the answers that you need. Please take care and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Abruptia must have been a terrible thing to go through. I am glad you are ok even though your baby is not. I would talk to your doc regarding why he thought this happened and how long you should wait for you to heal.

I am 30 and I lost a baby at 37 weeks in July. It turns out I have a blood clotting disorder as well. I developed a blood clot in my leg during my third month of pregnancy and was on lovenox injections the entire pregnancy. I lost the baby 2 days before the doctor was planning on inducing my labor. A blood clot went to the placenta. I am also trying to decide if I should pursue further pregnancies. I have not been able to understand how your blood can continue to clot even when you are on high doses of blood thinners.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS :( I HAVE HAD OVER 20 MISCARRIAGES, I DO HAVE 2 DAUGHTERS AGES 16 AND 9 MY YOUNGEST WAS BORN AT 26 1/2 WEEKS MY WATER JUST BROKE...I JUST FOUNT OUT ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO THAT I HAVE ANTICARDIOLIPIN ANTIBODY SYNDROME WHICH SOUNDS LIKE WHAT YOU, I FORM BLOOD CLOTS IN MY PLACENTA WHEN I'M PREGNANT AND I MISCARRY...I AM ALSO TAKING INJECTIONS ONCE A DAY OF LOVENOX ALONG WITH 81MG OF ASPRIN, PRENATAL PILLS AND FOLIC ACID MAYBE YOU SHOULD DISCUSS THESE THINGS WITH YOUR DOCTOR THE BABY ASPRIN IS ALSO A BLOOD THINNER, I HAVENT GOTTEN PREGNANT YET BUT WE ARE TRYING...I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST LETS KEEP IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER...GOOD LUCK :)

I don't know if I am pregnant are not I haven't had a period in 5 months, I still have sign of menstrual but I never have one. I get pimples, cramps, and everything else a woman would feel when they are on there period. I suppose to go and get a mammal gram Thursday to see if I have blood clots are if I am pregnant. I am really scared but I am ready to find out what is wrong with my body. It have went through so many changes I have gain 20 to 25 pounds. I no that is not right.

I am a new member and looking for other expierences. I've had 3 miscarriages. I have anticardiolipin autoimmune diease. I am on lovenox 40 mgs twice a day. I am 4 weeks pregnant. My doctor will not increase my dosage until I get to 6 weeks. Then, I'll go to 100 mgs twice a day. The probelm is I'm terrifed I won't get that far without the higher dosage. I'm so anxious, I spend most of the day checking to see if I'm bleeding. I was actually thinking of doubling my dosage to 160, giving myself 2, 40mgs shots in the am and 2 40 mgs shots in the pm. I don't think I can handle another miscarraige. Reading the posts makes me even more nervous. bbxzavien, how long were you on lovenox and what dose? I'm so sorry for you loss. It's terrifing to think you can get as far as you did and still miscarry. This is awful. Please post your loxenox dosages, when you started and your success. Thanks.

Hello everyone. First of all, BBX, I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss, and for all those that were mentioned previously. I haven't had the misfortune of losing a child to miscarriage, but I have had interesting pregnancies. I am 26, DH 29 with two daughters, ages 8 and 4. My first pregnancy went fairly normal, but I developed a blood clot in my right calf about a month after I gave birth. They put me on heparin in the hospital, after 3 weeks of trying to figure out what was wrong with me. That cleared and I was on warfarin for about a year and a half afterwards. My second pregnancy, I was taking 75mcg shots of lovenox a day as a preventative. I started immediately after I found out I was pregnant and didn't get off the meds until 3 months after giving birth. Other than that, the pregnancy was normal. I am looking to conceive again in the near future, and as far as I know I will have to have the shots again, probably around the same dosage.

I hope this has given all you who are pregnant some hope regarding this medication and our health issues. I know how hard it must be, but try not to stress out about it, because that added stress won't help your baby to grow healthily! Good luck to all of you, take care

I am new to this site. I was just given my results last night that I have anticardiolipin antibody syndrome. In the last 6 months I have had 3 miscarriages. One at 7 1/2 weeks, one at 5 1/2 weeks and 3 weeks ago I had one at 4 weeks. I do have a healthy son who will be two in September.

My RE told me to start taking a daily baby aspirin and my pre-natal vitamin. He said as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test to call the office and he will start me on a form of heperin...I only assume lovenox.

I truly hope this helps. My heart is broken over the three babies that I have lost. I pushed to have this testing after the second miscarriage, but was told to wait until after the 3rd. You are your own best advocate! Fight for what you believe it.....it's your body and you know it best!

I friend of mine has had several miscarriages and was diagnoised with a blood disorder.... she is now 5 months pregnant and has taken hepron since she found out she was pregnant... this is the first time she has taken hepron with her pregancy and everything seems to be going great... ask you doctor about heprin..
