We are gearing up for our 4th out-of-pocket fresh IVF cycle and are simply out of money. We have never had frozens, so fresh is our only option. It will not happen naturally for us due to severe male factor, so having faith won't cut it. I am a teacher and DH is a surveyor and neither of us have IVF coverage. IVF coverage is not mandated in Texas, just that it's an option for companies if they want it. So, as you can imagine companies choose to exclude because in their opinion, IVF and having babies are optional.... even though in order to have a family it's our only route.

Our 1st IVF resulted in a twin pregnancy, we lost one precious angel and now have an almost three year old miracle. We are still paying him off.

IVF #2 this summer resulted in a BFN.

IVF #3 this past November gave us a wonderful Thanksgiving blessing in that we found out we were pg, only to find out days later that the pregnancy was ending.

We will be paying on these IVFs for years and are already desperately trying to pull the funds for IVF#4 together. If we could find donated meds, that would help so much. Meds were donated to us once before and what I didn't use, I passed on to someone else that didn't have coverage. I knew in my heart I wouldn't need them... turns out I was wrong.

So, if you had coverage and then a successful cycle and are willing to donate to someone that doesn't have coverage, please think of us. I can assure you that whatever we have left over will be passed forward to some other person that does not have coverage.

Thank you,
Kahla
